Default Got my PP tattoos, still a bit sore :(

Got my second PP tattoo done, so posting the pic online for you all to have a gander at. Enjoy.

Must admit, the circle one has come out much better.

Ink didn't take too well, need to get it sorted out. Gonna wait for the circle one to heal up and then see how much it needs darkening off.

Tattoos are simply for some people and others don't like them at all. I have a bunch and I LOVE tattoos; these ones are great!

No need to crap on someone's parade though. I always feel like someone has to be against tattoos when these threads pop up. Maybe I just received the wrong message from that video...too tired.

    It happens every thread BilesyBelcher.

There are a bunch of people on the forums that think getting a tattoo of a game on yourself is "Totally Stupid", these people think of Tattoos as very Serious Business, because you own them your whole life. Which is a totally legitimate and valid position to have.(and I myself have had in the past), but not all of the people with this attitude track that not everyone is like them, and view the activity as foolish, so they hate on it. The trick is there are some people where Tattoos aren't as serious a business, and don't mind getting a game's insignia tattooed on themselves.

Personally I always kind of like Warmachine Tattoos, I am not a Tattoo guy and most likely wouldn't get one myself, but I totally can understand marking yourself with a thing you spend 100s of hours on. I mean if I got a big Anvil of Khador on my back my wife wouldn't mind. I have spent over 1000 hours painting/assembling/converting my 300+ points of Khador, and i have spent most likely the same amount of time playing them, it has been a huge part of my life for the last 6 years, it would always been a symbol of how I chose to spend that time.

Who is to say the OP doesn't have the same mindset.

I am a huge fan of tattoo's - Personally i think the subject matter is unimportant as long as you don't mind living with it for life (coming from a man with frozen toilet paper on my butt and sneaker tattoo's on my hands)

It actually irritates me more when people insult other peoples decisions to modify their bodies as they please.

Well, I watched the video...and I must say. I think I need to get a madonna tattoo next.

On another note, the symbols look good without the connection to the game, a lot of people have said they look good without even knowing what Warmachine is.

As DemonCalibre said, I've spent hundreds of hours on my Warmahordes, I wanted a tattoo that somewhat shows that I'm in this for the long haul. (honestly, I tried to stop buying as much at one point and found it easier to just give up smoking instead o_O)

No close up pics I'm afraid. and Whenever I plug my camera into my laptop it switches itself off...no idea why.

I have 2 Cygnar tats myself, and I plan to get at least one more (so I am partial to the one on your left arm).

The fact that these symbols look good on their own is a selling point for me. I don't know if I would get a Minion one but all the major factions have some very unique and interesting symbols. Great tatoos.

Aye, the guy doing it said he'd never done one there before. I like the front of the bicep, personal preference really though. I think on the sides is a bit too...done before. If you know what I mean.

Effin' sweet man . I have numerous ink's myself, enough that you'd need an extra set of hands to count with. I've been itching to get a Warmachine/Hordes ink as well, but I like how they came out. Scabbin' seemed to heal over pretty good too. Got any close ups?

Well in note to that video, tattoos can be removed nowadays.

On a side note I have a friend that has several gaming tattoos that look amazing. He has some servo skulls and a dark eldar character. So even to the majority that don't play the game they still look awesome. I think the faction symbols are pretty cool. Just stay loyal to that faction lol. Also I am not a tattoo guy but if I ever got one it would be Bowser from Mario breathing his name in fire and his hair would be fire as well. Total geek! Maybe the Cryx symbol too! lol.

    In closing, Awesome tattoo!

Walking down the street I agree with you. I don't think people have any buisness offering unsolicited advice or opinion such as : "Hey you tattoos are bad" or " I hate your tattoos", etc.

However when someone makes a thread soliciting comment about such, then they have to expect that not all comment/fedback will be of the fanboy/positive variety, and realize that they invited comment.

Well, I made the thread expecting some to say they didn't like them. I mean everyone has various taste and all that. I'm not fussed if people say they're a just terrible, their opinion and all that right.

Plus as CT GAMER has just said, I made the thread, I've got to have expected that some would be negative. This is the internet after all.

It's switching itself into storage media mode, and acting as an external drive. Both the camera and storage mode can't be active at the same time, since it would then be possible for both the camera and the computer to access the camera's file storage at the same time and corrupt data.

If you have a digital camera that's supposed to function as a webcam, you'll have to consult your manual to see how to manage that.
