    Default Help!

Ok, so I love the lore and look of Legion, and I've bought a few models, but now I don't know what sort of list to build around what I own.

    I have:
    Lylyth
    Carni
    4x Shredder
    Raek
    Forsaken

I know if I toss in a Shepherd, I'll be at 20 pts, but I want something in the 35pt range.

I know I want to swap out a shredder or two for Harriers, and I'm sure I want a Seraph...

I'm not really worried about having a particular gimmick or tactic, so I guess take the list wherever you want to go.

    Can anyone help me?

I'd pick up some striders (with or without UA) or maybe some archers.

Definately pick up some Striders with the unit attachment. Maybe even pick up the Deathstalker also.

Any particular reason for these guys? I know they are ranged infantry with CRA, and the UA gives them a cool cloud of arrows effect - but what about them makes them work well with the models I already have?

Lylyth doesn't help out her infantry very much, but since Striders are pretty much totally self-sufficient, they do very well with her. The Deathstalker solo are super-Striders, and I usually include one (or preferably two) almost automatically if I have 2 (or 4) points safely available.

A Shepherd wouldn't be a bad idea, since you're almost at the top of what Lylyth can handle safely (even when losing 'beasts).

Including Striders plus their unit attachment and a Shepherd leaves you with 6 points to spare (up to the 35 points, of course), which fits some solos or a meatshield unit of Legionnaires (if you're into that sort of thing) nicely.

One thing to keep in mind is that the Carnivean is the only really big hitter, so don't sell it cheaply!
EDIT: Saw that you wanted a Seraph too... Take out a Shredder, and put in a Seraph, and you're at 35 pts. neatly
    Lylyth, Herald of Everblight
    Raek
    Seraph
    Shredder
    Shredder
    Shredder
    Carnivean
    Blighted Nyss Striders [6]
    > Blighted Nyss Striders Officer & Musician
    Blighted Nyss Shepherd
    The Forsaken

Have your Forsaken follow the Seraph around like a needy child so you can run it hot-ish, and have the Shepherd ready to heal or pull off some fury from the other beasts.

    How about this?

Drop 2 Shredders, add a Harrier (for the extra Animus) and add the Deathstalker... That should alleviate some of the stress on Lylyth and give the min unit of striders a bit of a boost. I do like all the special sneaky stuff they get to do.

I can't see where you'd ever need True Strike in that list ... Lylyth really doesn't want to be in melee, and my experience is that if she is in melee she's dead-girl-walking.

I'm all for the Deathstalker, if you want to double-dip you could always drop the Harrier and get another Deathstalker. They perform almost the same role (I think), but the Deathstalker just does it better.
