Default eDoomy ... 30pts league list...

Is it possible to run a eDoomy tier list at 30pts?

I'm not sure but it seems that his tier lists are kind of lack luster compared to the other warlocks. Maybe I just need to read the book some more.

Kinda ugly for competition. See the comments on the 35 pt edoomy tire list topic.

    What about this:

    Edoomy - (-6)
    Mulg - 12
    EBDT - 10
    Mauler - 9
    Scouts - 5

However, it's just Tier 1... does that qualify for what you're looking for?

OR replace MULG for a 2nd EBDT & whelps for the healing/Fury management/charge lane blacking

Can't be a Mulg fanatic and keep replacing him! Cantankerous (or whatever it's called now) is just my favorite morale crusher! Keep Mulg find something else to do!

Im thinking of this: This is T4 so I can get the -1 to Heavy Warbeast cost.

    eDoomy
    Mulg - 5
    Axer - 6
    Impaler - 5
    Mauler - 8
    Troll Whelps - 2
Janissa Stonetide - 3 (for some back up) Mostly for blocking charge lanes with Stone Wall.

Its 29 points......grrrr so confusing....wait, .... just looked something up....I am making a 30pt army and eDoomy gets +6 WB points. ... so that's effectively 36 points??? Or am I way off.....

An edoomy tier list can't take a few of those models, so no -1 cost. Check out the guide for what he can bring...

Gython has it right (and you've got a typo for Mulg's cost, although your overall is correct if you had the -1 cost to each heavy warbeast included).

Without that -1 cost you're at 31 points, so you'll have to lose something... and change it up quite a bit if you want to stay in theme.

I believe eDoomy can only take warbeasts (heavy only? I think so since I remember the axer's not allowed), scouts, champions, whelps, and a few solos (I want to say skinner and runebearer, I don't have my book with me atm) in his theme list. So you'll be restricted to those units to even make tier 1, let alone tier 4!

So this is what I am going with:

    eDoomy
    Mulg - 11
    Mauler - 8
    Mauler - 8
    Earthborn Dire Troll - 3

Either that or I'm going to substitue the second Mauler for 3 whelps and Moses

Septic Flesh, maybe you're going about the tiers wrong. I just started, and I couldn't tell which way they go either at first, but they progress from tier 1 to tier 4, not the other way around.

So, for example, to start you have to meet the requirements for tier 1 (only including certain models in your list, which is usually a small subset of the models in the book).

Next, you have to meet tier 2 requirements, which for eDoomy I believe is including 2 Units, meaning champions or scouts, since those are the only Units (not warbeasts or solos) that he can take in his theme list.

Since you don't meet tier 2 requirements, you're Tier 1. Which means the points costs in your list should be:

    eDoomy (-6)
    Mulg - 12
    Mauler - 9
    Mauler - 9
    Earthborn Dire Troll - 10
    Total = 34 Points

Because you have not reached the requirements for Tier 4 to get the reduced points costs for your heavy warbeasts.

So, you're 4 points over... if you drop a Mauler, you'll have 5 points to play with... you could get scouts to stay in-tier. Or, you could drop the Earthborn instead of a Mauler, and get a minimum unit of champions for 6 points. You could also get 2 groups of 5 whelps (which count as solos) and a runebearer for those 6 points.

Hope this helps, let me know if anything's not clear!

A tier4 army for eDoomy is worthless under 50 points. So its a moot point anyhow. However, I played to day and got my **** pushed in for about 8 straight hours. Did not have fun at all and am not really seeing how this guy is so good. Not sure what I am gonna do for future games. or If I'll even play at all ... really pissed at how lackluster Mulg is, its either charge him in and "maybe" take out a jack, only to have him get killed immediately there after by other models or hang him back a little bit and watch him die to a charge or denegrahs ****ed off influence spell and watch him kill my warlock. Either way today sucked *** and Mulg was VERY UNIMPRESSIVE. However, my mauler held it down so I might just take more of him. Maybe I can live past turn 3.

From reading your other thread I don't think you should make a tier list. You can only go to tier 1 without having to buy at least two units, which it does'nt seem like you can do right now. How about this:

    eDoomshaper (-6)
    Mulg 12
    Mauler 9
    Axer 6
    Swamp 4
    Whelps x2 4

This would require to only pick up 2 units of Whelps and still run beast-heavy.

yeah, that's kinda the plan at this point.
