25pt Kraye list.

Having just aquired the model I want to use him. My local club is on a 25pt hardcore drive at the moment so I am this list is designed with being able to play fast in mind.

So I have two options for the jack bullet. Plenty of armour busting and on with any luck the cavalry rules will help me deal with infantry. Impact hits, ride by attacks, tramples and electro-leaps should help a bit. A feat turn trample should see either heavy wherever I need and ready to smash my opponent's caster. That's the hope at least. Or am I likely to be overwhelmed by massed infantry?

Infantry is going to be a problem, no doubt about it. I don't see how you can really run jack heavy without it being a problem. I'd suggest cutting a Hunter and downgrading Rowdy and the SC to Ironclads. That gives you 11 points to play with. I'd suggest tossing in Rangers, The Black 13th, and a 2 point solo to taste. Good choices would be Arlan, Harlan, and Gorman. Personally, I'd go with Arlan for evasion on the assassination run.

Absolutely. Your list would be decent for Mangled Metal but you just won't be able to bring enough attacks to bear to deal with infantry. A good player will be able to space their models out enough to mitigate tramples and electro-leaps.

It's a big departure from your list but Kraye's tier works quite well at 25 points. I've run this list and have had decent success with it:

Kraye +6
- Hunter 6
- Hunter 6
- Ironclad 7
Rangers 4
Rangers 4
Black 13th 4

Ok, I will keep it for mangled metal stuff...or when facing trolls.

If I drop the stormclad and a hunter but keep Ol'Rowdy how does the following sound? I know I am avoiding Rangers, I don't like the models much and don't have the cash at the moment to get them either.
