A little dead this week with lack of people, but still a fun game. Gave Blaize a couple games today, first one against Ossen (which was pretty brutal). Second game was against Darius T4 and I got my butt handed to me. I seriously need a second Firefly to marshal to the SW's, since flank makes them so much better. I made some bad decisions in that game, but it was a nice learning experience with the new warcaster. Definitely want my rematch against that list Nuriochi_sol, this time Blaze will come out on top

Bring it on, man! I'm just glad to get my first win with that list. I've worked with it for a while now - against Legion, Trolls... I think I've finally refined the list to a point that it works as designed.

Played a great game tonight against Writer@Large - his Grissel vs. my Ashlynn. Amazing feat turn. Forgot to activate the Ragman at the right time, so I almost didn't kill his Axer - thing NEEDED to go; thank Nyssor for that Nyss weapon master charge. But he got to use Bone Shaker instead - killed a Kriel Warrior with it, who then walked over and killed a fellow unit member, finishing off his left side flank. Yay Bone Shaker! Can't believe that worked. In the end though (a round later), Ashlynn got a charge off and Tough saved Grissel's butt on three occassions. Then Riposte missed once, then twice. What the heck?!? Finally crit slammed Ash into another trollkin, and rolled just enough damage to kill her. Such close games are few and far between. Stupid Tough.

Sounded like it was a good game, I really wanted to get in a game but my group kinda pissed me off by dodging around and not wanting to play a game for 3 hours. So I assumed no one was showing up and just put my stuff away. So if anyone wants to get in a game on Sat or Sun, please let me know

That's cool if you can make it, Chuck invited me to play in the 50pt Tourney in Flint on Sat. However, after trying to make lists, I've realized I may not have enough variety in models to put together 3 viable lists....

Whenever Tim gets things rolling, we'll be starting the Journeyman League up. Since we have a lot of newbie players, this could be good for them. Plus, me learning a new warlock/warcaster (deciding to play pKaya or Blaize) should be fun!

Had some great games last night giving pKaya and eKrueger a whirl. Definitely seeing how to play eKrueger a lot better than I have been, so I have good insight on when to pop feat and take out key models with pull/push shenanigans. Also, I did talk to Tim, and we'll be starting the Journeyman League probably the last weekend of the month. So either he or I will be posting up the rules (plus battlebox changes as I mentioned before) sometime soon

I still plan to run Gatormen for the league and I was wondering if anyone new if I could get a game in on any other day to make up for lost time in the league?

My understanding is from talking to Tim is no, you can't. The restriction is you can play as many games as you want, from noon to midnight on Wednesdays, and they'll all count towards the league. But that's it. I missed out too, and I'm hoping to join up next week. So you won't be the only one behind.

We had a huge attendance last week, about 10 players was having fun and getting in a bunch of games. So you guys have more than enough time to get in games to make up for the missed first week.

Great time last night! It was awesome seeing so many people playing in the League! Got in three games with Lord Carver - against Kaya, Denny, and Madrak... should of been 3:0, but Madrak and that stupid scroll - how could I have forgotten? Leaving three Fury on Carver against Crit Grievous Wounds was another mistake. Rolling it out, I woulda had him, too. Grrr... And the turn before, if my double-handed throw woulda went off... oh well, great game! Love shoving Carver down my opponents' throats - his army can really MOVE when it wants to.

Now it's time to garner some hobby points. Gun Board and War Hog up first...

2 more weeks left and things are still fun and exciting. Glad we've been having good turnouts for the league and hopefully everyone will stick around for more wednesday gaming. I enjoyed Grayle a whole lot more than I thought I would. Storm Rager is sick, and I have a few more targets I wanna try passing it out to see the results...

Great games last night! One game versus Trolls (pMadrak) and one versus Khador (eButcher). Josh, that eButch list is frighteningly effective! That was one of the closest games I've played in a LONG time. You made so many Tough rolls, and I made so few. And got lucky holding my Feat in research one more round - fun times!

All in all we had great turnouts for the league and everyone had a blast. Great to see new faces in the game and more opponents for people to face. Now we just need everyone to show up outside the league, then we'll be good to go every Wednesday :P.

So after giving legion a play run on Wed, I must admit that both pLylith and eLylith are very strong. Also, it didn't help that was I playing against a Khador jack list and doing atleast 7 damager per attack...

By the way it looks Tim has yet to post anything about the league, so I guess I will. We'll be starting up the Gnarls League this upcoming Wed, Feb 15. It will be $5 and be running for 4 weeks per the rules of the league. So come in and get in as many games as you can, but above all else, lets have some fun and throw down in some good games. I'm going to rock Legion (Rhyas and pThag), so this is going to be completely new to me
