Hopefully I'm getting my losing out of the way early. Railed by Hollywood in a bad match-up again... better than eKrueger vs. eLich but Ret just doesn't handle infantry well unless you're running Ravyn or something. I needs me a Daemon, maybe that'll fix some things. Hopefully Pam'll have my other 2 Vyre kits next week.

I'll want to run those next week if they're in, and I'll want a few hardcore games too. Ran it once against Tom and that went well until my damage dice took a massive dump and I could barely damage the Centurion that killed Vyros with 2 boosted flanked rolls and a normal flanked roll, plus a weaponmaster, plus a Banshee charge. Otherwise stuff seemed to work alright.

Then Jake and I played. And then we played again because the first game was filled with epic dice fail on both sides. (He couldn't kill eEiryss after hitting, both the Banshee and Hypnos failed to hit even with Future Sight boosts needing below average on 3d6, among other things.) Rematch was closer as I finally got the Void Lock/Momentum screw to work (play by the rules, Proteus!), but in both games Ossyan died to pillowfists.

Granted Jake was using pVayl so neither game really counted. So nyeh.

OK, sin says he has Khador for me. Im hoping to get at least one other game in. I also need to start timing myself.

Just curious, do you guys play at Pandemonium as well, or just RiW? I'm across the river and would like to come in the summer to maybe get some games or just watch, and it seems like RiW doesn't have nearly as much space.

Yeah, those dice were HOT! Mine weren't terrible but my heavies didn't stand a chance.

GG with Brian though... a real grindfest. Would've kept going if we weren't playing on Hardcore time. If he had a few more seconds, pGaspy would've had time to port back, and I would've had to resort to out-attritioning his army instead of charging Asphyxious with full focus and a flank.

Dibs on Khador for next week... I'm thinking Zerkova? Maybe tier, maybe not. Strakhov and/or Butchers are other options, too.

Dox and Hollywood, good games! Still can't believe some of my dice rolls. Churning out 3 revives in a turn is pretty fun with Mordikaar. I hope next week to be running Zaal, and the week after that I will hopefully have my bronzeback and a unit of reivers to slap some skulls around with.

I'm calling a game against Jake this coming week. I want to play some Legion, maybe another Cryx match too, otherwise is like another Hordes match if possible. But ill play whomever.

Good times rocking Zerkova today! Even if I lost twice. I do like the matchup with that list against Cryx, I just need to adjust where the Devastator goes in order to deal with the troops. And stop that Shadow Bind goodness. Otherwise, I can get around Crippling Grasp screw pretty easily, and DJ wasn't really much of an issue for once.

Eric's game was funny only because of how Last Stand works with Influence. The problem is that it generated a Kovaas, and I was getting a little too close for Zerkova's comfort. (Not killing the Kovaas didn't help either.)

The short version is that Scytheans with Manifest Destiny can't hit Satyrs (he missed what, 4 times?) so I had another beast to work with, managed to get lucky with a couple of druid pulls to get Thags into Kaya's charge range, got a crit and pummeled him with boosted POW 11's because I still had feat. (And that Satyr to make sure I could get my full complement.)

I had two really good games too. First one was against marshall, who decided to bring Haley1 against my Coven. Im still his friend despite this, and I somehow scratched out a win. Marshall waited one turn too long for his feat, and I made a lot of tough checks. Then a MAT 9 reaper got up into haleys grill with 3 focus.

Second was against jake, scaverous vs eThags. I mis-measured a charge with scavvy, and lost his entire activation and my feat because of it. After that I tried to claw my way back into it but it wasnt happening. I also fed him a wraith engine on his feat turn, derp.

glad i made it down, really needed it after a crappy day of subbing. thanks to Tom and Eric for the games. I will be sure to protect karchev from here on out, just as i'm sure eric will remember that the drakhun has counter charge, as well as rules for his own models.

Yeah, GG Dox. Not going first against Harby, even with guns, is tough. I rallied a bit and managed to fight off DAUGHTERS TO THE FACE[tm], but I ran out of gas on all your solos. And Rhoven's posse.

Tom's match-up was a bit more frustrating. Cassius' feat is brutal if you don't have the army for it. And once again I got eaten by Demolition, lost battle mages to AOEs that don't cause blast damage, and other general bleh.

Thinking. Not sure if I'm going to bring Khador next week for alternate 35 ideas for EL, or Circle for random ideas on that front. I am yet to run eBaldur outside of tier...

Hi All!

I'm moving closer to that neck of the woods next week. I'd like to get some "noob friendly" games in starting the week of the 14th. I currently own Khador and Menoth and can field up to 25 points. I get out of work at 5 and can get up there by 6. As I get comfortable with the rules I'm hoping to get a few more folks (4-6 from my current gaming group) playing too.

There's also a group that plays at Pandemonium Games on Wednesdays, though their forum presence here is pretty limited. Pandemonium is a handful of miles south of RIW. Just as an option. I also try to get a weekend group together on occasion, and I live in Novi, too (if that's where you're moving to).

Thanks for the game Dan! It was fun playing Strakhov, you totally caught me off guard with that feat I'll grab the TFG from you if I see you next week, but might not be back up for two weeks.
That pitch was super lucky, but I think we played it wrong, when you set it down, I was supposed to deviate I think, since crit pitch changed from being a psuedo slam to being a throw. While I think the redeemer with eye of menoth/prayer of battle/death sentence/3 focus could have taken a 0 focus strakhov with war dog, there's the chance he wouldn't have, and all it would have taken was the eliminator in back arc with gang and combo strike to kill sevvy.
