So Detroit dudes, I'm just a hop and a skip away from you, and word on the street is foreigners and new folks are welcome (or at least not beaten bloody, usually). I noticed on RIW's calendar that the official WM/H day is Tuesday, but does anyone game on other days? More specifically, I've got a free weekend (with no woman!) next weekend, and might be interested in checking out the famed Detroit meta.

The forums we use are The Chosen Realms - http://s9.zetaboards.com/The_Chosen_Realms/index/

The Chosen Realms is actually a gaming club that meets every 3 weeks or so on Sundays at a community centre (not at the store), but all the local WM/H players also use these forums to set up games. The store (Hugin & Munin) has gaming on Sundays, Saturdays and Wednesdays, but pretty much every other day of the week is available if the store owners say the tables are clear. Closed Mondays. The forum on that site to use is "Challenge someone to a game". Usually someone will put up a post or two each week. I don't know why no one uses the store's forums :/

If you guys are actually interested in coming, we'd be glad to have you. I could even talk to some of the more experienced guys here (and our PG? I don't know if he's a PG yet :P) about setting up an event. At the very least we could grab some beers, eh?

EDIT: I'd also like to add I'm highly impressed with the level of proper English in this thread. We lack that, somewhat, on our boards

Oh I hear ya, breaks are slippery mofos. Actually the only reason I can likely make it over that day is because my fiancee and her mother are gone for the weekend. Yeah, I pretty much parted the seas perfectly for you by forgetting about Perfect Balance. Otherwise, there were only a few Zealots left and your jacks weren't doing pretty much anything with feat and Voltaic Snare both active. (Snare on the perfect target too!) But yeah, Nemo doesn't like getting slammed. Especially when it one-shots him.

It's definitely worth also noting that if he didn't slam into Reinholdt, he'd have slammed into the Squire, which must be equally satisfying.

Tom's game was a real grind-fest, no one really had the upper hand. Shots and flak fields ended the druids early, but my Defender definitely made his points; he got both Megalith and the Guardian (With melee only for each!)! Then my army got whittled down and it came to Nemo vs. Baldur. Thankfully Nemo + 11 focus got the charge.

I really like playing with Nemo.

Next week's my last week for 3 months! I got one game lined up against Chuck; I'm probably packing Khador and maybe using that eSorscha theme force from NQ43. Any last takers???
