Heya all

I'm just wondering, how old is this man meant to be? He taught Pendrake who is looking fairly ancient as he is. Which makes me wonder about Saxon.

He was born in 547AR according to the most recent NQ (Gavin Kyle) which would make him around 61/62 depending on what year Wrath is set...

its funny cuz the art makes him look in his 30s. he looks younger than pendrake.

Saxon Orrick is only 6 years older than Pendrake.

Saxon is around 61 and Pendrake is around 55.

While he does look good for his age, in fairness all that can really be seen of the man is a slightly craggy face under a fully wrapped head... Pendrake wears specs and has his grey hair proudly on show...

True, but especially considering the sort of always-in-the-wilderness life he leads, especially the time he spends in deserts and the Bloodstone Marches, he looks pretty decent.

I'm guessing Saxon shaves his head though, so grey hair might not be there anyhow.

constantly avoiding death by a razor's edge keeps you more alive and sharp still...

on a side note, Bloody Barnabas is just slightly younger than the Old Witch, making him outrank many in his Oldness powers (including the Lich Lords)

Like blue loki said. She's a living embodiment, not a mere mortal. More like a spirit with flesh. As far as I know, she's immortal and can't be killed(or at least there's no record of her being killed, which wouldn't fit well with her mediocre warcaster stats. Given how long she's been around, if she could be killed, someone would have done it by now.)

Wait what? Is this in the minions book? That would make him literally a minimum of several thousand years old as near as we can tell from the Old Witch. Is that what he thinks? Or did the Witch say that?

*Also, pretty sure the Old Witch has to be younger than Dhunia and Orboros/Devourer, since they are the ones that created/are the actual world.
