The NEW Warcaster/Warlock Cardfighters thread!

For those of you that made Cardfighters avatars previously and would like to share them, please post them here.

For those of you who are new to this, some background. A Long Time Ago, SNK released a handheld gaming system called the Neo Geo Pocket. One of the games released for the system was "Cardfighters Clash: Capcom vs. SNK". It was a fun card game featuring art of various Capcom and SNK characters done in the chibi style.

Fast-forward to the PP boards. Someone much more creative than me found an archive of the card sprites, edited a couple to look like characters from Warmachine and Hordes, and the rest is history.

SO... feel free to add your own!

First, you'll need the card sprites. They can be found here at the Game Sprite Archives.

After that, just go nuts. Something as simple as MS Paint can be used to edit the pics. There aren't any hard rules to making the avatars beyond the restrictions imposed by the boards (no bigger than 80x80, 100 kb). I personally try and keep them in 16-color GIF format, but that's just me Keepin' It Real.

Here are the Khador ones I've done-- same as in my sig, but as separate GIF files to save you the trouble of cropping, re-naming, etc.

I felt like trying my hand at this while I wait for my order of 'jacks to arrive.
People seemed to want some Retribution 'casters, and since I started Retribution I thought i would try to do Adeptis Rahn. I'm fairly happy with the result, hope you guys like it.

When I did my Magnus card I used this card:


The changes I did on this pic:
1: Erasing that annoying lighting arcs.
2: I change the colors of his hair, coat, etc.
3: Redraw the coat to look like shoulder plates, drawing the eyepitch, and such.

After that I noticed that, there's something missing from this picture: a weapon. I think the foecleaver of Magnus is too big to fit, such as his boomstick, so I choose the Mechanikal Arm. I've searched a new pic that contains something like that, and I find this:


I cut the glove from this picture, change the colors to something more metallic, and I put the Rugal picture above that. At last, I made some background, and the "Asheth Magnus" sign and voilá. If you can use the Paint, you can do this. I hope I can help.

As a matter of fact, I did! I also looked at using Nash and Rolento (already had the scar, after all).
