What two caster combos do you see for take all comers games? I'm considering 2 casters at 75 points but apply your choice to whatever point level you like.
I think my favourite so far would be the Forward Commander Sorscha and Supreme Kommandant Irusk combo. They each have decent jack points and a good jack bond.
Irusk would get a Spriggan (which would get +2 def and no KD from bond),
Sorscha would take Beast-09 and a Juggernaut (getting freezer from bond).
The army could consist of two full units of 10 winterguard with UA (one with two rocketeers) to take advantage of Bob and Weave + 2x casters with iron flesh for DEF17. Sorscha makes the Winterguard kick face with Combined arms and in a pinch a Grigorovich Bear Strength speech with Battle Lust gives a unit of Winterguard POW11 + 4D6 on the charge. If a unit of 14 Winterguard CRA's a target on Sorscha's feat turn it will be doing a RAT19 POW26 +2D6 damage getting 2x damage over armor. That would nuke any light jack and seriously hurt an enemy heavy. Widowmakers and Ternion mix it up targeting specific models with Mortars at the back taking advantage of immobilized targets and clumpted infantry. In a pinch the Winterguard are certainly expendable though they are the bulk of the army.
Some Mechanics, Yuri and odds and sods like war dogs mean the casters can get close and tear the enemy army apart. Between Sorscha's boundless chargs and Irusk's Energizer our heavies should be able to get the jump on enemy heavies on a Spriggan it's downright disgusting the threat range Khador can get with an accurate MAT8 P+S18 series of hits.
If I had a choice of lists list #2 would have pButcher and eSorscha with Butcher adding a die of damage the combined feat turns would deal easily with any enemy on a combined feat turn.
