Default White Mane, lost some or gained?

It seems the Tharn Ravager Shaman has gotten much better and at a good point cost, hooray.
But...so far (of course we'll see how he plays) the White Mane seems to have lost quite a bit, at least in the offensive department. I like the Tactician for the Ravagers. Sprint also seems good to get him more out of harms way. I believe Overtake might work out well but with the new formation rules, they may be spread out too much.

What do you all think? I could be missing something, on paper anyway, but for 3 points I'm digging Lord of the Feast, 3 Wolves, etc..., hmm....

The whitemane is basically a Gerlack Slaughterborne that you can take two of.

I really doubt it will make it through the field test, because the amount of QQ that model is going to generate is going to be insane. Rivers of blood and rivers of tears will flow.

They have 2 less armor than before. They will die too quickly to do anything of value.

The whitemane is one of your few models that did not getter better in the field test.

he basically provides no real function that I can see at the moment. I love the model, but without boosting his unit...I fail to grasp his purpose.

He, like a couple other solos, inexplicably got tactician, and lost all other unit buffs. As a tharn player, I don't recall ever thinking "gee...if only I could move my tharns through each other inside a limited area..."

Looking at his stats and his cost...I don't know if he would ever make my list anymore...which is sad, because I used to play 2 of em!

The White Mane reads like the new iron chef.

Step 1: Charge an infantry model with an 11" threat range at MAT10/boosted P+S13
Step 2: Kill that model to get a corpse token and move 1"
Step 3: Spend the corpse token for another attack against an infantry model within 2" at MAT 8/P+S13
    go back to step 2

Don't forget to sprint when you are done.
