this is absolutely amazing, and could not contain my laughter when I saw "Blacktie Wrastler."
I give thee...
I was unsure of exactly how to scale it, so I went for comicly large. I'm not sure if it works. Let me know what you think!
A few more angles can be seen on my blog, here.
Looks like things are coming together quite splendidly.
Comically large is pretty funny, but I think I'll have to reserve my comments on it specifically until I see the finished product.
Time is like a zombie, moves slow as hell, but when you not looking, its "Boo! Got yer brains!"
Don't forget the spats!
Currently playing: Farrow & Skorne
The Ironhide Scoffer is nearing completion, and is ready to criticize anyone that dares to take the stage!
All that's left are his spats, opera glasses, Playbill, and, of course, a railing. C&C welcome!
The turtle needs a cane... His left hand is build just right for it, that or making with the fisticuffs if those damn kids don't get off his lawn.
And so the tale of the great Gatorsby have begun! I think this might be the best thing ever....heck it beats robo pigs!^^
This is so awesome. Because its ridiculous, but unlike other ridiculous armies, somehow, someway, it maintains its merit and cool factor, and seems a part of the setting. Well done

The standard Bull Snapper model looks prime for a Gay-90's flapper-esque pose. Give one a bob haircut with feather, a short mini-skirt, and long necklace. I dare 'ya!!
Calaban? Genteel Voodoo gator?
Thank you, this is definitely a thread worth watching!!
"It's a brand new day, and the sun is high. All the birds are singing that you're gunna die! How I hesitated, now I wonder why, it's a brand new day." Dr. Horrible
That Ironback is soooooo cool. He looks like an 80 year old englishman demanding the shop owner.

When some Rhul of Clan Ghordson saw a Squire, they said: "We can do this better." - The result was the Basher
Jolly good show, Old Top. I dare say your gators are quite fancy, fancier even than mine, who until you showed up, considered themselves quite sophisticated. We hope to see you at the voodoo shack soon for tea.
In the meantime, I propose a measure for your wardrobe needs, as I have thought about making my gators more dapper as well, and this is the research I came up with.
Lego Hats. Specifically, top hats and bowlers. A lego head is roughly twice the size of a 30mm human head, making the hat size ideal for gators about town.
You can acquire them online from secondhand Lego vendors.
"I lost 15 pounds on the Blindwater diet! It's easy, I only eat what I kill!"
I'm just going to drop this in here...
I was just looking for this thread the other day to show a friend, glad it popped up again.
I don't suppose a beer bottle or even a half broken beer bottle ready to cut some fool would be more appropriate for the wrastler? Too genteel for that sort of chicanary?
Victorious Slayer of Protectorate Rebuke
That is so amazingly weird that I LOVE it.
Idea; Cane for the Ironback Spitter? In its left hand, raised and yelling ad them kids on his lawn... or something of the like...
(sig by SnakeEyes)
holy crap batman! Those are awesome! You and Plarz have done a wonderful job on those! I'm a little jealous now.....
As a side note....I was a little disappointed when I met you at L&L...you didn't have a top hat on!!! nor the tuxedo :O.
I like that he's going to have a railing. The whole thing looks like a fat elderly gent getting very upset at a shoddily presented piece of theatre. His arms are posed kind of awkwardly, however. What do you think about sculpting him some broken pipe, so that he's actually tearing up the top rail with his right hand? It paints a portrait of him grasping it for support, then becoming outraged and leading to his vehement shout of disapproval we see him posed in.
This quite possibly the greatest modelling thread of all time.
I think my fav has to be the Scoffer as looks an awful lot like this guy....
..."you like that, don't ya boy!"
Thanks for the compliments folks! EpicAstinos, consider the broken rail idea stolen! I love it.
I finally got the railed base back from Plarzoid (how-to here), and it was time to paint up everyone's favorite critic! Thanks to EpicAstinos for the idea for the rail.
I present: the Ironhide Scoffer!
Oh wow. Brilliant.
So good! (10 chars)
Best army concept ever. Seriously.
"I can't remember if that happened, I think I know what you're talking about, but that was during the period of time I believe when Superboy Prime was punching reality."
