I'm still out of town. Looking like I might be able to make it for a few hours on the 19th, and could probably be toward the 2:00 time for a couple of weeks afterward. My schedule clears up by mid-June, and I'm thinking June 16 or 23 for a 35-pt SR tourney. Should have time for a couple in July as well.

I talked with Travis, and, if I can swing it on my end, I'm going to head into the lion's den and do some demos on Thursday nights from time to time.

I hear that. I'm not saying that their game is bad, I'm just saying that a game where a Gladiator slams an enemy jack out of the way, clearing the lane for a Bronzeback to trample an entire unit, is better.

No worries - good to hear the dog got found. I should be there 2-2:15 on Saturday - I will double check, but I think my sons soccer game is at noon. I'm not stuck on concession duty, so I could leave as soon as the game is done, with only a short stop to drop him off.

Hope the house hunt went well. Showed up, managed to get a demo in, so we may have a new Khador player. I'll be loaning him stuff for a while - hoping to have him convince someone else to start Menoth, and they can split the 2-player starter.

Hey y'all. I just saw the thread on here. I play up at odyssey games mostly, but was wondering if you have a set schedule? Ive only read the first and last pages so I may have missed it. I'd love to widen the pool of competition. The crowd at odyssey games has really gotten into wm/h, but I always enjoy new opposition.

I play khador and could field 50 points comfortably. Being a stay at home father at the moment has led me to construct a table of my own, along with a smattering of good terrain. We live in portage, right by 131. Maybe I'll make it to LnJ for games one of these days and not hobby advice!

We play pretty much every Saturday, generally starting about noon, and lasting until 5. As I said, I won't be there this weekend, but I will be there on the 14th, and we have a tourney on the 28th. I have some Khador - if you need to borrow something for the tourney, just ask, and I will loan it out if I have it, on a first-ask, first serve basis.

Glad to hear that it is picking up at Odyssey as well - I may have to head over there and talk to the owner about it. IIRC, there was some resistance to WM/H, but that was a year ago, so things could well have changed since then.

I can say first hand, that WM/H is now a booming alternate to GW 40k and Fantasy at the Odyssey. I'd like to think that we've seen the light, as it were.

I downloaded the tournament rulebook and have been perusing it, hoping to organize something at the Odyssey. It might be a good idea to enter into yours and see how everything works, like death clocks and reinforcements.
