    Does the base require ment army for Magnus Traitor them, HAVE TO include or is it set up so i can choose between the various units?

    and clerification on Talion, Can i use Broadside Bart as the caster and any others that i choose as far as Warjacks? I figure that i can only use Privateer for units.

    The Tiers are set up so the options given are the only options you have for the first level. You don't have to have "one of each" or whichever. Though higher up the tiers, you do get into the "need to have X of Y" sort of things.

    And yes, that'd be how the Charter works. Bart can be a warcaster (since he's a Privateer). Any warjacks can be used (except Rhulic, due to their own, specific special rules). Then the units/solos you have to choose from must be from the "Privateer" list.

    Are the merc contracts and their benefits for MKII printed somewhere? I could of sworn I saw this in print for MKII, possibly in a No Quarter, but I am unsure if I did see it or if I am just remembering MKI print somewhere.

    Without having Cygnar book in front of me, they're not. Or, rather, not properly capitalized Trencher Infantry (do they even have Trencher subtype?). Trencher Infantry is the proper name of an existing unit and it is that unit that you can field with Magnus.

    PP should put this unit name vs unit type vs creative readings thing in the FAQ. I still have no idea if the subtype has priority over proper unit name or not (thank God we probably don't have a unit with the exact same name as an existing subtype. Probably.)

    Trencher Infantry is a subset of Trencher Units that Magnus happens to have access to. Trencher Units is a category (as seen in some of the Cygnar caster Tiers), which would include all of the below units.

    As far as Trenchers go, Magnus Tier players can take:
    Trencher Infantry
    Trencher Infantry Officer & Sniper
    Trencher Infantry Rifle Grenadier

    Magnus Tier players can not take:
    Trencher Commandos
    Trencher Commando Scattergunner
    Trencher Cannon Crew
    Trencher Chain Gun Crew

    As you may notice, in the title for Trencher Commandos, it is not Trencher Infantry Commandos, which is why they are not able to be taken (at this point).

    In the lt caine tier list in the cygnar book, it says gunmage units not the black 13th but the black 13th is a requirement for tier 4.

    so could this leave the door open to the highborn covenent taking black 13th?

    I think PP need to be alittle more specific.

    Out of curiosity which factions does/will Taryn di la Rovissi work for. I want the model but dont know if she'll work for me

    Your pdf seems to list Cygnar Trenchers in Highborn Covenant - AFAIK, that does not work.

    Also, added Blindwater to the list and updated for the new stuff. I know there are plenty of omissions in this one, mostly because I couldn't find things like who Barnibas works for and things like that. Help is appreciated if you are in the know!

    This may be a stupid question, but can the two Rhulic warcasters only control Rhulic warjacks? I know it works the other way around, but I can't seem to find info on this anywhere, and it will probably mean the difference between me getting them and not.

    rhulic warcasters have a rule titled as such. They can only operate Rhulic warjacks and only have rhulic warjacks in their battle groups.

    Hi, I am new, and trying to decide which army I am going to field, I decided on Mercs but was wondering where the Warcaster McBain fits in to all of this. Any advice before I go buying a ton of models and books? Trying to do this as economically smart as possible. Thanks!

    does this mean that i have to have a mercenary warcaster to be able to field a mariner or freebooter warjack?

    I was planing on bying either a cygnar or khador warcaster, and then have mercenary warjacks, but this is not possible?

    Horgenhold artillery is listed as working for fou star, but it can't (work for cygnar and protectorate only).

    This list needs some updating. You're missing Blaize, Damiano, and Macbain. Rover, Rocinate, & Gallant. Shaw and Rovissi... just to name a few.
