Well work just confirmed I'm not on a training course on the 21st so we stick with the original date for this month.

Morkian - ta on terrain. I should get to the shop next week and then start planning what terrain we do need (oh hills for definite )

HI Jurjazz - it was me you spoke to on Sunday. At the same time I'm doing stuff for the more experienced players I'll be doing stuff for new players as well.

Wigwam - new player definitely welcome. Now we've got the new venue I need to talk with the shop on how it's going to be used. In terms of playing I think TM wise it will probably stick to those days, but I'll know more on that soon and as I said going to be doing stuff for new players (and those who don't necessarily want to play tournaments) very soon.

Really looking forward to seeing the new place, it'll be nice to have regular weekend gaming after the Night Owls moved to the other side of Leeds. I gathered a few bits of terrain for donation as well.

Seen the new place today and it's much much nicer than I thought it would be. Can definitely fit 16 players in. Definitely meet at the shop though on Tuesday and we'll go over. There will be an entry fee from now on, but to go with that we'll be getting terrain, boards painted etc. Talk about that on Tuesday.

Thanks to everyone who came and saw our new digs in Leeds on Tuesday.

Dates for next month are:

13 March 35 point games starting at 6pm- bring 2 lists if you can. For our new players have a chat and we can help bulk out what you have or give you some new things to try out.

25 March 50 point games starting at 11am - 2 lists character restrictions.

We can now happily fit in a lot more people, but I would still like to know who is coming so I can try and sort out pairings if possible before the day.

Once we've got the boards painted etc then we'll look at scheduling the Domination tourney and advertising far and wide.

And we have a date I can do, 25th of March. Ok while I really don't like the character restrictions I can easily work around that. Are we gonna be using the reinforcements stuff? As I've a bigger problem with that than I do character restrictions (and thats a lot, I really think steamroller2012 was a massive step in the overconfused direction).

Either we use sr2012 as it's written or you can write your own pack and call it something else.

I was all for trying those things out during beta but there's no point now.

Not sure if I can do both yet gonna need some negotiation.

The character restrictions just mean that models/units with a force allowance of C can only be used in one of your 2 lists so you could only have the Deathjack in one of the lists.

If we play Flank scenarios this time we will be using the No reinforcements variant, but given there are 6 different types of scenarios we may not necessarily be playing flank this time.

Awesome, so long as I know I'm not gonna need to work out what arbitrary units are going to gain ambush this game I can actually write a list that works. Seriously, it stinks of someone being miffed Kossites are poo and wanting Beast09 to be able to do it instead.

Exactly all the artifice can be removed if they want. I play flank with and without reinforcements and don't really notice huge amount of difference.

I ll definitely be there on the 13th to play at last with my fresh cryxies, my only problem is that although i can muster about 45 points i don't think i can manage 2 different lists, I hope that's not a big problem. The new gaming space is great by the way and I was glad in meeting some of you guys in person.
