Just a reminder we're playing the regular Tuesday monthly event next week on the 10th. Starting at 6pm. 35 points character restrictions (so we get used to it).

Nabil is checking on the dates for the Starter Box Saturday (June 30th?), Hordes Domination Coin event (July 29th?), and Breast Cancer Brawl (end Oct?). On the whole he's ok with the idea of the expanded event for BCB.

Well dates now confirmed for the forthcoming events.

Starter Box saturday will take place on June 30th. This is an event designed for brand new players as well as those looking to branch out into a new faction. We will be offering assistance on the day to buy your new faction box and assemble it ready for play. We'll also be sorting out information in store for those who want to play one of the factions without a faction box.

The Hordes Domination Coin event will take place on Sunday July 29th starting at 11am. It will be a 50 point steamroller event with prizes as well as coins for 16 players. More details shortly.

The big news is that we will doing the Breast Cancer Brawl on Sunday 21st October again starting at 11am. This will be a 35 point event using the BCB rules and I'm already talking to Cerberus, Privateer Press and Guts n Gears about prize support and items for the charity auction. Pink armies will get bonuses. I'm hoping for a big big event and we'll be advertising this at the Nationals as well as on various forums. Just got to figure out exactly how many people we can fit in the shop and the playing space.

Our next Tuesday Brawl is May 8th and 35 points as per usual. Should hopefully have the new shop scenery by then so that can get painted.

Next Tuesday night is 12th June. Amric and I are talking on Monday about updating the website and getting the other things all advertised. I'll talk to Nabil on Monday about the setup for the BCB as we discussed last night.

The next 16 player Steamroller tournament at Travelling Man Leeds will take place on 29 July starting at 11am.
This is a standard Steamroller event which will have Hordes Domination coins as prizes. All scenarios will be from normal steamroller with 10 minute rounds.
Players will need two lists of 50pts, with no reinforcements, but character restrictions. You will be expected to play both lists at least once on the day.
Timed turns and rounds will be in force.

Tickets cost £10 to play payable on the day.

The event will take place on Sunday 29th July

The event will begin at 11.00 and finish at around 19.00. Assemble at the store before we make our way over to the playing area.
Prizes:
Champion coin for top player
Faction coins for the best of faction (Hordes only)

cost is 3 pounds and on the tuesday its 35 pts, but we happily play different if you really new and don't have up to 35 yet. And yes a New players always good .
