ehh, looks too big and transporting it is going to be a problem. I don't like that it has to take damage to reach its full potential - in most games your opponent won't bother attacking your heavier stuff unless they know they can take it out that turn.

Definitely the best battle engine I have seen previewed, and the best looking one of the lot I feel. As a part time Cygnar player I might even be tempted to dip in to one of these.

Actually, I expect that the two Stormsmiths are immune to bullets until the thing goes down on account of the giant electromagnetic field that it's putting off. Shoot a bullet at them and it gets turned aside, bending away from the pilots to fly off into open air instead.

The downside is that Storm Strider pilots develop a case of static cling that *never* goes away...

Exactly. There's any number of reasons why the Stormsmiths are perfectly safe from "snipers" or the like because it's a fantasy world where the only law of physics is the "rule of cool".

Yet every time anything with exposed crew shows up on the forum you get someone thinking he's clever by making some asanine comment about the crew getting "sniped". No matter how many times you state that the rules don't allow for it and there's multiple fictional reasons why it's not an issue, it still happens.

This is the one I'm MOST excited for. I have my preorder in for the Gun Carriage, which will hopefully be in next week, but I'm slobbering over this one. Is there any news on an official release date yet?

Cancer is not particularly something people with a life expectancy of 40 years or so worry about. And oh sure people like Nemo are older... but the average soldier in the IK most likely will not live long enough to have to worry about such things.

I sure hope it DOESN'T get focus, all because of Thrullg, Eiryss, and the Forsaken. I hope it gets unique tokens like eButchers blood tokens or Zaal's ancestral rage tokens, so there is no way to get rid of them. But yeah, I'm all for a Hydra-esque capacitor.
