A brief question for the veterans.
"Using the Grey Lords, can they use the Frostbite and Ice Cage attacks if the GLT's are in Melee?"
and with the Magic Ability, is this a roll of 7<= to succeed or do you use the 7 and add the 2d6 roll?
Thanks all

Yes, the Grey Lords can use their magic attacks in melee. Even against targets that they are not engaged with!
Any offensive ability with a score, fx Magic Ability, means the number is used to add as a normal damage roll, so for the Grey Lords, they rolld 2D6 + 7 to determine if they hit with their magic attacks.
You roll 2d6 and add its magic ability score to the roll. Then you compare the result to the DEF of the target just the same as Ranged Attacks.
Regarding your second questions i'm not sure since i don't have the cards with me but i think the Greylords have Special attacks and therefor follow the same rules as every other Special Attack. So you may use them while in Melee.
Ouch, been playing them wrong.
This would have made a difference in my weekend game too.
Man I really like the GLT knowing this. They may not be their MKI version but I am loving them.
Thanks kindly

I have another question about GLT Ice cage: So the -2 def is cumulative, so after 3 ice cage counters it would have -6 def. And at 3 counters it becomes stationary for one round, stationary has a base def of 5. The spell dosent say that the -2def x3 goes away, so is the target at a total def of -1?
Please do not Necro-Thread. The Infernals or Mods will just lock the thread without answering your question. Rule of thumb, if it the thread is more than two months old, just make a new thread with your question and put a link to the old thread in your post. This way you can be sure to get an answer.
You need to read the section on BASE STATS, CURRENT STATS AND MODIFIERS page 33 Prime:
Stationary DEF is 5 the lowest a model can have.Except for DEF, a model's base and current stats can never be reduced to less than 1; its base and current DEF can never be reduced to less than 5.
