A few of us play at my house on thursdays........mainly Bleed, Vynde and Dawn. I also have a few friends that come infrequently or promise to come.....and never show up.....
Dunno why you guys are so excited to see his work......i mean he is a sub-par painter
(and yeah i'm super excited to see how she turns out too)
I have some sad news I just opened the box the dice came in.
These are the ones that were done right.
These are the ones that were done wrong. I'm working on a solution already to get replacement.
Ghool: I'm currently uploading the a skin video, on shading skin for your review. Will get the others up as soon as possible.

I thought the proofs that we saw were what the dice were supposed to look like. I assumed that's why he sent proofs?
If that's the case, that's pretty sh--ty QC. If you send proofs, and we approve them, that's what should have been sent, no?
Anyways, not really a big deal, I have dice I can use in the meantime. Just a poor example of QC.
I hardly leave my house. The phone is within arms reach, and I have a second car sitting in my garage. I don't see the problem.
Society did fine without cell phones until about 20 years ago. Why all of the sudden are they considered a 'necessity'? Oh, right, to keep the economy going with planned obsolescence. We have cars, computers, and now phones.
You ever wonder why the richest companies in the world are ones that make computers/software, phones, and cars?
Next innovation from Apple; the iCar.
Actually it'll be google with the first car... and it will probably drive itself.
I for one embrace technology, its not going away..
I dont have a home phone, its pointless. Hell i'm almost to the point of cancelling my internet too and just getting a big data plan and using my phone as a wi-fi hotspot. The benefits of technology are in how you use it, if all a cell phone is too you is a home phone that travels with you then ya.. current cell phone plan prices dont make sense for you, but for the amount I use my phone.. its well worth the price I pay.
I embrace technology just fine; I used to build my own PC's, and stayed on top of all the computer craziness. It's the buying a new phone every 6 months because the old one is no longer supported crap is what gets me.
Once I had kids, a lot of the money spent on endlessly upgrading your technology gets really expensive. Especially when you need to 'upgrade' clothes, shoes, toys, buy food for 4 instead of one or two, and so-on.
But yeah, we might just get a family phone plan and screw the home phone.
Good to hear. So, I guess the Menoth guys get some free dice.![]()
I should also mention that my body puts out a magnetic field that drains batteries like mad. I had my phone in my pocket for 6 months, and the battery went kaput.
The scanners at work are battery powered, and I have to change mine three times during a 5 hour shift, and no one else changes theirs more than once in 8 hours.
This is why you never see me wear a watch; battery dies in a week.![]()
Yep. Soon as it was available, I got chips. I had to walk around with a piece of plastic or scotch tape all the time. Which is why I'm still in the habit of just carrying around and paying with cash.
It's usually not too bad as long as the device doesn't sit right against my body. In a jacket pocket or something an inch or so out everything will function fine. Get any closer, and **** starts going haywire. Since I pretty much carry the scanner at work in my hand all shift, it dies quick. It's a pain in the arse.
Ghool, do you happen to have a sister named Eiryss? I have similar problems with my Juggy's batteries dying when she's around.
Whare are these videos

Wait. Some of you don't have a mobile (cell phone to North Americans)
Safe to say that everyone over the age of 10 in the UK has a mobile. My iPhone costs me £35 a month. Not sure what that is in Canadian. But one of the first things I will be doing when I get over is getting a new one. I use it for much more than chatting on the phone or even texting. The amount of warmachine/warhammer PDF's I have on it is staggering.
Although being a web designer and having to design for mobile web browsers may have something to do with me always having one as well.
Cheers.
Hey, So I just started building my bases for my Cryx. I decided to go with a simple brick design for my first attempt at basing a model. I used thin sheets of cork, that I will later paint to my desired brick colour scheme. What I was wondering is, besides pinning my models through the cork to the plastic bases, is it necessary to take any extra steps to seal the the cork to ensure that it won't break apart with normal game play handling? And if so, should I do it before or after painting, or both? Just in case it makes any difference I'm cutting the bricks into the sheets of cork which are already glued to the bases, then I plan to glue on some stones, and grass flocking in the grouting. Any advice would be great. As of right now basing is the worst, I'd rather be at work.
Just give it a quick seal with some white glue and water. You can then prime and paint at your leisure. You want to seal it like that so it doesn't absorb a ton of paint.
Hand Cannon. The flesh ones release Monday.
It's about $70 a month CDN Moose. Our cell phone plans are similar in price. Personally, I think it's a rip off.
