It's safe to assume yes. Gaspy3 will probably be the special release model, and the tray for the Kraken will be there, which is another safe assumption of the model being present.

Iron Arena will have tokens, dice, painted terrain, Extreme sculpts, BF bags, bandanas, patches, and some other stuff I can't recall.

So, it was a good day for snail mail, and email!

My replacement Darius, and Thunderhead arrived, along with a Nemo 2010, 2 Minutemen, Danon Blythe and Bull, and my Cygnar T-shirt. In addition, another little treat arrived in my mailbox; the Caine1 painted by Matt DiPietro!

As well as all the goodies arriving in my mailbox, my email inbox had the final details of my first NQ tutorial. I'll have the contract by Monday...and the pay scale isn't half bad! Well, it's better than what I was getting paid for my Hand Cannon videos and articles, which was nothing.

Vynde is just rolling for our scenarios for the Steamroller on the 20th. I'll release the details of each, and one will have reinforcements. So, plan accordingly.

Do you guys magnatize your jacks arms to swap them out between each other? Think it may be a bit tough since the jacks joints are so rounded... any tips on doing this? Do you smooth down/flatten an edge and glue a magnet on?

I'm all metal. And I prefer not to magnetize. Crap always falls off, gets moved around, and never stays put. I don't care, I'll just get a kit for every 'jack I want.

I've magnetized every kit (except mercs) for warmachine, and one plastic heavy warbeast. The key thing with magnetizing is investing in some decent magnets. My personal favorites are the rare earth 1/8" x 1/8" round magnets from lee valley. They're like 18 cents each if you buy in a larger quantity. I always bought them in groups of 100, as they always seem to go fast. Bleed and vynde bought the magnet packs from the box, and both had/have issues with magnets not sticking. My jacks never have that problem. Once I get the skorne heavy kit I will probably invest in a few hundred magnets and hawk them of at the box for cost. When I do this (definitely after lock and load) I will also do a "magnetizing" demo, as I know a bunch of new players will be interested in this. I agree with ghool, that magnetizing is not as good as solid modeling, but for newer players its definitely the way to go as you can try out ask your different variants available on 1 chassis without having to fork out the money for 3 models without proxying. I will probably run this the 3rd sunday in june.

And vynde is just jealous that I had to magnetize his beast for him....

EDIT: Also take note, that i use a cordless drill with a very good 1/8" drill bit (i buy my bits from lee valley, so that they're the exact size of the magnets, and yes, an 1/8 bit from different stores can vary 1/128" bigger or smaller and that can cause problems) so if you don't have a cordless drill of some sort, then i would look for and invest in a pin vice that can hold an 1/8" drill bit.

I've magnatized a lot of my stuff for 40k, just Warmachine since the joints are rounded I just thought it'd be a bit of an issue since you'd have to dig a small hole with a drill or something. All my magnets were from K&J Magnetics and you're right, it's amazing how fast 100 goes.... on my tyranids I think i burnt through 200+ magnets for the differnet arms etc. I dunno, I may just stick to gluing, I like the solid feel of my models. Variation is nice, but I dont mind dropping $35 when I want a new model.... just have to decide what to build with my new Protectorate box... Another Crusader or Vanquisher, or build a Templar since I dont have one of those yet... oh the choices.... (Crusader seems most versatile but templar is nice to have a shield)

I'd just go with one of each, and then add more of what you like the most. Or, just go with a single 'omni-jack' and the rest as single builds. That way you can two of whatever you want, and one of everything else.

But, the Crusader is so damn cheap, especially in some tiers.

I just finished magnetizing my 2 new crab jack kits and the are nice. It's very easy to do and have to agree with USB on the rare earth magnates. They work great but i would either go for the N40 or even better the N52. The N52 are super strong and i use them on all my metals. I will have my crab jacks for the tourney next weekend.

It's not just a tournament. It's a whole convention hosted by PP, and a total blast.
