I am totally in for the painting Ghool. that is a fair price and the time could be better but i would not miss that kind of chance.

Lol......ok......well yeah, the first time I painted my titan, I drybrushed the nubblies gold and then painted red around and I put a drop of blue ink into the low bits, and it looked pretty good. The second time I painted him I had brushed the entire area with orange, so I drybrushed my brown over top of the orange and it looked half decent......I hadn't finished that second paint job, so I'm not sure how the wash would have turned out......but looking at the drybrushing, I think I would have done a yellow ink. When I repaint him for the 3rd time, I'm going to follow the first method........drybrush the nubblies, probably in like a cold steel this time, paint my "bone" armor around that, and then ink the nubblies with green.......I may even experiment with ghool's glazes.

I assume you're talking about the filigree?

If so, just paint it all your metallic colour; gold, or whatever.
Then make a wash with 50/50 water/matte medium, and add about a brushfull of paint. Wash it in there, and let it dry. If you want more colour, do it again.
That's it.

I did the same in my washes video with the Gnarlhorn.

Not a bit. They didn't even ask to search the bag. I did like Ghool said and made them well aware that it was full of metal before they scanned it and I had no problems. And the bag fit under the seat no problem, just had to lay on it's back, but wasn't even a snug fit, and our plane was tiny.

Absolutely not......I checked out the privateer press headquarters earlier and shortly after a very warm welcome......well I'm not quite sure what happened next.........all I know is I woke up in my hotel room with a small cut just below my left ear..........surely not related.

I can't remember what's in the bundle, and for some reason my browser hasn't been able to open the store/main page in 2 days......I can tell you this though, the troll battlebox is painful, and you should try to expand from that as soon as you can. So the summer sale is probably a good choice as long as the other models are something you think you will use.

PS: We found a place that's nearby that we can go hang on sunday. It's at the end of the monorail, so like a 5 minute walk and a quick ride will get you there. It's family friendly (so ghool can bring his family) and cheap. Each pizza is 6.88 and that includes any and all toppings you could want on said pizza. And.....they serve beer.

Hey guys, we arrived last night after a 17 hour drive.

I'll tell you that downtown Seattle is hellish to drive!
The way through the Okanagan Valley was slow; it had construction every few km, and some areas were down to one lane....both ways!
The kids behaved surprisingly well.

Vynde, when you get here, and you need you room, just send me an email, look for me in the convention hall, or come knock on my room door: 1917. 19th floor. I'm going to just switch the room to your name, and you can collect from the guys staying with you.

I'll be checking the forums and my email sporadically, so if you need to findme quick, best to check the convention hall on the 3rdfloor..

Seattle is wicked. Stayed at the Red Lion a few years back for Pax. If you get a chance to walk around down town take a walk to the library, amazing looking building inside and out. And a absolute must is to hit the Pike Place Market and watch the fish tossers and check out all the cool little shops in there. Some really awesome comic and magic and trinket stores.

And Sorry USB stole the Kraken and Gaspy off Ghool :P I will be seeking advice on painting and assembling it and will gladly bring it in.

Man, why would you waste money on a cab when you can take the train for $3 from the airport? The train stops two blocks away from the hotel.

O...........m...........g..................soooooo ooooooooooooooo tired.......and that's only one day down.........
So, the previewed models look disgustingly amazing. Woldwrath and the archangel are beautiful. Hyperion looks alright. The Mammoth concept art looks cool (it's an oversized titan with a cannon twice the size of conquests on his back)

So, soon, we will probably start seeing other releases, like light cav for every warmachine faction (except cyx, cuz we have it) and heavy cav for cryx.......heavy BANE cav........mmmmmmmmmm

I faced my first stormwall......and I HATE that thing. It's not broken, but it is very good. And today is just seminars. I'll try and get a few good pics and share with you folks who couldn't make it.
