Anyone know what would call the thingy that sits over the top of the lightning ball on the storm strider? As per usual my part has magically left my desk never to be found again, and I need one. Further, does anyone know where you can get one?

Yeah, the cat is the biggest perp, honestly. Picked it up from a farm and didn't realize that we had a F6 Savannah on our hands until we took her in for her first round of shots. It's like having a rowdy dog, that can climb and jump really high. The other day I watched her drag one of my shoes out the front door into the yard and start trying to cover it with dirt. It's a bit of a nightmare. She likes to sit on the table and watch me and whomever play games, and every now and then will swoop in and bite a model up and run. Always mine though ><

Format - 50pt. 3 Round SR2011 Tournament. The following SR 2012 appendix rules will apply.
• 50pt. Army List
• 2 Lists Required
• Baseline Time Limit
• Standard Steamroller scenarios
• Baseline Painting
• Deathclock (95% certain as they are in the mail)
Steamroller Trophies will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd:
There will also be prizes for the best painted army and best sportsman and the end of each round a random player will win a door prize.
Cost is 10$ and we have a lot of spots available for this tournament and we expect to fill all of them! So if you are planning to attend we ask you to register as soon as possible. We ask army lists be sent in ahead of time so we do not have to go through a stack of army lists on the day of the tournament. 2:00 to 2:30 pm Doors open and registration/ set up begins.
2:45 to 4:25 pm - First round game.

Awww, timed turnsWell I'll still probably make the trip up there......a few of us had the discussion last nite of how much we prefer deathclock to timed turns. Oh well, i guess i can't always get my way

How do brush sizes work? I have a #1 what's a larger sized brush?
The bigger the number, the larger the diameter will be. Different manufacturers will not necessarily adhere to the same sizes compared to another one. The W&N's are about the same size as the Raphael brushes. The Raphaels are slightly larger. DaVinci brushes are ridiculously small; a DaVinci #2 is smaller than a W&N #1.
But, generally, the sizes work like this, working down from the largest to the smallest:
3, 2, 1, 0, 00, 000, 1/0, 2/0, 3/0, 4/0, 5/0, 10/0
Anything smaller than a 1 is pretty much useless in this climate. In a more humid place, the smaller brushes will work. But, regardless, learning to paint with a bigger brush that holds a nice sharp point will get you a steadier hand, and quicker at painting.

The nerd stink was so thick you could chew it. This leads me to believe that L&L is going to be the stinkiest place in the world.
There's good ventilation in the hotel. The hotel actually has a climate control system that pulls in fresh air from outside, and swaps the air inside. On the other hand, the Sentry Box has one door in the back that you can open, and freeze everyone in the back.
This is the difference between running an event at a venue that spends money on it's location, and one that doesn't spend any. The Sentry box doesn't even have air conditioning. If you thought today was bad, wait until the middle of summer....
There was no Geek Reek at LnL last year at all. No joke.
Yeah.......i'm still trying to scrub the smell out.......oh well......Huge turn out......we're almost getting too big for the venue. And boy am i glad that april fools is over and we won't have to deal with it for a long time......
