[B]Failing rolls on loaded dice all day. [B] | I play Darius... in tournaments.
i don't have my cards with me (obviously......i'm at work) but what about saxxon orrik, or Gorman? I think wrong-eye works for everyone but ret, mercs and trolls.
Rorsch and Brine are the most general, and I'm not really too interested in changing poopy diapersI'd do it if they're potty trained though

sigh......fine be that way........
I'm working a late night shift in the Iron Arena on Saturday. We're also going to start the next season of the league one day early, on the 15th (Sunday) instead of the Monday.
Dawn is still signed up for it, so if one of you drops due to masters, I'll see if I can fill in. But, chances are I won't, because I don't want to leave my wife with the kids for all four days....
it's cool.......you know what else is cool........eLylyth taking shots to the face from terminus..........so much fun.
Oooooh new store of who's owners children i will be putting through college..........also i like how vynde ignored my heckling altogether.......
You're telling me! It's down the street from my house. I can walk there in 20 mins, or drive in 2....from what I know about the owner, he's a big Warhammer guy.
But, Mike did say he wants to stock PP product.
I'll have to stop in there and talk to him about events and stuff.
For sure........hopefully he's got a decent amount of room, Considering we had how many players for the SR. If we lost the prize support, for a nice store, with more room, I'd be completely alright with that.
Laaa-aaame.
EDIT:
Just took a look at his videos...only 3 4x6 tables in the back. So, it's quite obvious it's a Warhammer only set-up, and three tables isn't even enough for our regular weekly meet-up.
It also looks like they're carrying comics, and an entire wall of puzzles?? It sounds very much like the Great White game shop that was in Southcenter mall. It's the same dude who ran it as well.
There's 5 guys all in on it. This has me thinking; if they can do it, then we should get a bunch of investors together and just build our own damn shop....![]()
There is a LARGE vacant space by my place.......a rogers that shut down.......there's also an old blockbuster space for lease by macleod.
Anyone stick their head into the new store yet?
Nope. But from the videos, it looks like a typical game store you'd find in a shopping mall. Almost 50% of their wall space is dedicated to puzzles.
I don't see them carrying much for miniatures outside of GW, if anything besides GW at all.
If any of you ever visted Great White in Southcenter, the store feels like a virtual clone.
Maybe.......we just need to open our own store........and I'm kinda actually serious about it.
Yeah, me too. I've already made a corporation over 2 million in profit over the three years I ran the bakery. I know how to build a successful business already, and my wife is the Queen of retail. I'm just wondering about the start up costs.
And Dawn, Imaginary Wars is owned by the same guys that ran Great White.....they just didn't own Great White. That's why there's such a strong correlation. My question is; if the method, and practices you used at one location failed to turn a profit, why repeat the same business model, only in another location??
Besides that, running a successful business is more about a positive feeling and attitude when you walk in, than trying to push product. My idea would be to incorporate a cafe and short order food place into it as well. Gamers always need drinks and food. So, why send them to a fast food joint, Tim Horton's or otherwise, when you can capitalize on the money they're going to spend anyways?
But, doing that would add to the start up costs, as certain things need to be built, and zoned for serving food, plus permit costs. However, it would easily pay for itself within a year or two.
Opening/running a store has always been a dream. If we were to do something of the sort, yeah, i'd incorporate a sandwich bar of some sort, and i would also leave a small area to make things, like my transport trays and terrain pieces to add to items to sell. We know as good as anyone what gamers want, so we would be able cater to them accordingly.
Is anyone going tommorrow/today?
Pretty sure Sentry box is closed for Easter?
