I was wondering what buses go from the ferry terminal to card kingdom, or if any go there from westlake center? I plan to start going every tuesday when i return to the States.

The 15, 18, and 17 (as well as their Express versions) all run from the 4th and Jackson island stop, about 5 blocks from the ferry terminal, up 3rd Ave near Westlake, and out to Ballard by Card Kingdom. The Expresses are faster but the 17 and 18 stop closest, right across the street.

Just a reminder: This is the first week of the Thornwood League. I have lots of people signed up but not paid in. Also, we have a fancy new frame so everyone can see the scores. It'll still be updated on Sundays but it's now up!

I also have patches so as soon as you pay in, you can start earning them.

Hey, anyone going to be at Card Kingdom Saturday or Sunday for games? I've just reached 25 points of Skorne and would love to get a few games in at 15 or preferably 25 points. I'm quite flexible so if anyone wants to play and doesn't mind smaller point games let me know!

Patches, I am available to play some games on Sunday around 1pm, I've still only got 25 points actually painted, so that's perfect for me.

Hey I stopped by Card Kingdom the past couple days while I was visiting. Really nice store you guys have there. Sometime down the road me and my gf want to move to Seattle, so hopefully when that happens I will be able to go there pretty frequently. Next time we visit Seattle for a couple days I will be sure to bring my Warmachine stuff, and go get some games in with you guys. Always nice to have new people to play with. I should have the Storm Strider I picked up from there yesterday all painted up and ready to play by then :P.

Usually I hate double posting but just wanted to let everyone know that our first Hardcore tournament at 25 points was a success! Also we will be doing the Summer Rampage event, hopefully it will be at the end of August before PAX hits us.

The Summer Rampage looks fun- I'm looking forward to trying out "Just a Bit Outside" with my Stormwall. It seems reasonable for a Stormwall to go around ripping off 'jack heads and throwing them at people. Working on my Harry Doyle impersonation...

Awesome, I'll try to be down Wed (and pick up my last badge from last season finally, lol).

Any thoughts about what kind of "cave terrain" you want/need for the hobby badge this time around?

This is what CK will be doing for the Hobby patch.

I talked to a few people on the forum and got a less than desireable answer so this is what we are doing... You have a few choices: Make a set of appropriate cave objective markers or flags (40mm or 50mm), a piece of awesome cave terrain (I'd like to be able to make a full 4x4 into the inside of a cave), or base your league model in cave basing. If you have a model that is a solo or an upgrade, please make it look awesome, make an additional flag/objective marker, or base the rest of the unit or more.

Hi All,

I'm new to Iron Kingdoms and War Machine, but I'm interested in getting an IK:RPG game going. I have a bunch of ideas of games I'd like to run, or if someone else is itching to GM I'm happy to be a player. Chris at CK offered a table Wednesday nights, or I'm happy to host at my house other days of the week. I have one friend interested so far and would like to find three more people. If I run it, I'll throw out my ideas and let the group pick which one I should put together, if I'm a player, I'm game for whatever.

Hey guys, the Journeyman League is winding down so I figured we should have a tournament! We had forty players participate in this league. I want to thank everyone for coming out and making the league awesome. Anyway, here are the details.

Where: Card Kingdom in Ballard
When: December 8th at Noon.
Who: Since this is a Journeyman League tournament, only those who paid into the tournament can play in it. There were many people who played in the league but only sixteen people (or seventeen with a bye) can play. So please preregister!
How Much: $5. This will have less prize support but you all did just pay $10 to play in a league...
Prizes: If we want, I can order some cool stuff. Please give me ideas! We will be doing 1, 2, 3, Best Painted (Player Choice), and Best Sport (Player Choice).
Format: 35 Point Steamroller 2012, no radials. I'll be picking out four scenarios that are easy to medium just in case we get some of our newer players joining us! Two lists format, character restricted, only one list required.
Special Rules: You must use the army/pact/contract you used during the League. Think of this as Week Six (the week where you have no restrictions).

April 6th, 2013. Gargantuans Book Release at Card Kingdom! Noon to 10 PM. $5 gets you into the event. One coin per player unless we do not have another player of that faction present. Warmachine players are only eligible for Best Overall coins.

Example: We have one Skorne player who gets Best Overall. He/she is the only Skorne player at the Book Release. They will get the Best Overall coin plus the Skorne coin. If there was a second Skorne player, they would be split.

Wednesday is the more "official" night, but there is also a pretty regular group on Sundays, and it's not usually too difficult to find a game other nights.
