I'll be there tonight as well.

Awesome! So long as you don't mind playing like 15 points or so while I stumble through the rules I'd love to come in for a game or two. If you're up for it what time would you be in/up for a game?
No problem, My girlfriend plays Skorne so I am kind of familiar with their starter battle group
Cool! So what time are you going to be around?
Around 5:30 6 oclock tongiht. I'll be there for a while too.
I was wondering what buses go from the ferry terminal to card kingdom, or if any go there from westlake center? I plan to start going every tuesday when i return to the States.
The 15, 18, and 17 (as well as their Express versions) all run from the 4th and Jackson island stop, about 5 blocks from the ferry terminal, up 3rd Ave near Westlake, and out to Ballard by Card Kingdom. The Expresses are faster but the 17 and 18 stop closest, right across the street.

Thank you very much. Around what time does the crowd of gamers start playing?
Some folks get there in the early afternoon; others of us have been known to close it down

Just a reminder: This is the first week of the Thornwood League. I have lots of people signed up but not paid in. Also, we have a fancy new frame so everyone can see the scores. It'll still be updated on Sundays but it's now up!
I also have patches so as soon as you pay in, you can start earning them.
I have Friday off- was thinking about getting an extra day of league gaming in if anyone is interested in a game during the day? Only catch being that I'd have to jet by about 4:00. Otherwise, looking forward to a game or two on Tuesday! -Jason (Cygnar)
I work the closing shift on Friday... but I will be up for games on Thursday night if anyone needs games then too!
Hey, anyone going to be at Card Kingdom Saturday or Sunday for games? I've just reached 25 points of Skorne and would love to get a few games in at 15 or preferably 25 points. I'm quite flexible so if anyone wants to play and doesn't mind smaller point games let me know!
Hey I stopped by Card Kingdom the past couple days while I was visiting. Really nice store you guys have there. Sometime down the road me and my gf want to move to Seattle, so hopefully when that happens I will be able to go there pretty frequently. Next time we visit Seattle for a couple days I will be sure to bring my Warmachine stuff, and go get some games in with you guys. Always nice to have new people to play with. I should have the Storm Strider I picked up from there yesterday all painted up and ready to play by then :P.
Thanks all for your support and attendance for the Thornwood League that just ended! As always, comments and ideas are always welcome. Upcoming: Dark Secrets League and right after that, a Journeyman League.
Usually I hate double posting but just wanted to let everyone know that our first Hardcore tournament at 25 points was a success! Also we will be doing the Summer Rampage event, hopefully it will be at the end of August before PAX hits us.
Doh, Sorry I missed it but I was supporting my girlfriend as she ran a Zombie 5k. Who was the winner?
The Summer Rampage looks fun- I'm looking forward to trying out "Just a Bit Outside" with my Stormwall. It seems reasonable for a Stormwall to go around ripping off 'jack heads and throwing them at people. Working on my Harry Doyle impersonation...
It's from a movie.
From 1989. At least the guys at PP don't make me feel old!
Are there any plans for a War Torn Alliances: Dark Secrets league at Card Kingdom?
Yep! We start the Dark Secrets League on September 10th! Come in and play anytime! If you have any specific questions, please let me know as I'm running it.
Also - Summer Rampage is on the 15th!
This is what CK will be doing for the Hobby patch.
I talked to a few people on the forum and got a less than desireable answer so this is what we are doing... You have a few choices: Make a set of appropriate cave objective markers or flags (40mm or 50mm), a piece of awesome cave terrain (I'd like to be able to make a full 4x4 into the inside of a cave), or base your league model in cave basing. If you have a model that is a solo or an upgrade, please make it look awesome, make an additional flag/objective marker, or base the rest of the unit or more.
I'll be at CK for league games with a Protectorate army around 6:30 tomorrow (Thursday). I'm hoping some Hordes armies will be there for me to set on .
I will bring my Khador army to CK for some league games Thursday night. Hope to see some other league players there!
Reminder: Summer Rampage is today! All day games! $5 Entry.
I'm new to Iron Kingdoms and War Machine, but I'm interested in getting an IK:RPG game going. I have a bunch of ideas of games I'd like to run, or if someone else is itching to GM I'm happy to be a player. Chris at CK offered a table Wednesday nights, or I'm happy to host at my house other days of the week. I have one friend interested so far and would like to find three more people. If I run it, I'll throw out my ideas and let the group pick which one I should put together, if I'm a player, I'm game for whatever.
Reminder: Journeyman check in starts on the 7th (Sunday) and the Journeyman officially starts on the 9th!
I'm looking to play a game or two of Warmachines this week. I'm available after 4:00 on Tuesday, after 1:00 on Wednesday, after 5:00 on Thursday and any time Friday. Busy this weekend. PM me if you're interested. I'm in the Journeyman league if that matters to you, but happy to play non league folks as well.
Hey guys, the Journeyman League is winding down so I figured we should have a tournament! We had forty players participate in this league. I want to thank everyone for coming out and making the league awesome. Anyway, here are the details.
Where: Card Kingdom in Ballard
When: December 8th at Noon.
Who: Since this is a Journeyman League tournament, only those who paid into the tournament can play in it. There were many people who played in the league but only sixteen people (or seventeen with a bye) can play. So please preregister!
How Much: $5. This will have less prize support but you all did just pay $10 to play in a league...
Prizes: If we want, I can order some cool stuff. Please give me ideas! We will be doing 1, 2, 3, Best Painted (Player Choice), and Best Sport (Player Choice).
Format: 35 Point Steamroller 2012, no radials. I'll be picking out four scenarios that are easy to medium just in case we get some of our newer players joining us! Two lists format, character restricted, only one list required.
Special Rules: You must use the army/pact/contract you used during the League. Think of this as Week Six (the week where you have no restrictions).
If you have any question, please ask here or ask me in person!
I hate double posting but seeing that it has been a couple of months, it should be okay. I will be running a Longest Night event in February. I know, wrong time of the year but we were doing a Journeyman during Halloween last year! I need to know how many are interested. It would be a one day event.
New to the area, but may be interested. Also looking for pick up games on weekends if anyone is up for them. Shoot me a PM, have not played since moving and itching to get some games in.
New to Warmachines/Hordes. I almost have enough Circle painted up to get a game in, so hopefully I'll be showing up at CK in the near future. Anyone up for games on the weekend would be cool.
April 6th, 2013. Gargantuans Book Release at Card Kingdom! Noon to 10 PM. $5 gets you into the event. One coin per player unless we do not have another player of that faction present. Warmachine players are only eligible for Best Overall coins.
Example: We have one Skorne player who gets Best Overall. He/she is the only Skorne player at the Book Release. They will get the Best Overall coin plus the Skorne coin. If there was a second Skorne player, they would be split.
Are Tuesdays still your WM/H day of the week?
Khador may have been my first, but Mercs keep me coming back for more.
We get a few on Tuesdays but Wednesday is definitely more popular. Our events are on a Saturday when there is one.
Hey guys! We have some awesome things going on at CK for April. On the 13th Omnus will be running a 50 point tournament that starts at noon and on the 29th is the second Umbra League, Anomaly!
Lock and Load will be here in only a month and a half. What better way to prep for the upcoming tournaments than play in one before the convention?
What: Iron Gauntlet Prep Tournament
Where: Card Kingdom in Ballard, Seattle, WA
When: May 18th, 2013. Starts at noon.
Who: Anyone who wants to try the Iron Gauntlet format
Why: Lock and Load Qualifier Prep
How Much: $10
We'll be following the rules set forth in the Iron Gauntlet packet listed here: http://privateerpress.com/files/Iron...t%202013_0.pdf
Exception: As this is a prep tournament, fully painted does not apply. I will be awarding something for painted armies though.
Out of Faction Painting is allowed!
If you have any questions, please reply here or contact me directly.
