With our force book coming out in the future can we expect an epic Gorten?

I'm gonna have to agree with cannibal, I'd prefer a new caster before an epic of one we have
nm................
"Have you ever had your hands on fire?....it's the saame thing"
"O Lord...bless this, Thy hand grenade..that with it Thou mayest blow Thine enemies to tiny bits, in..Thy mercy."
It was more to see what people say. Honestly i agree with you guys. He's my favorite caster and i like him just fine as a regular

Don't get me wrong, I would love to eventually see an epic version of Gorten (and Madhammer too), but I would simply rather get a different Rhulic/Searforge caster before making epic versions of what we already have.
That said, I DO think Ashlynn could stand an epic version currently - or a resculpt at the least.
I have Ashlynn lieing in pieces in front of me. I made one attempt to attach an arm, and gave up. I'll need to pin. Further the sculpt is so weird looking that my thoughts keep being drawn to the saw I have. Poor dear is going to have a chopped apart arm, I just know it.

I hope the release of EGorten for a very long time now... I can wait a little longer and I agree, Gorten has already a wonderful sculpt and awesome stats, I love all in this little diehard boy. But I still want EGorten, I don't want it stronger, I want it different.
In my town, almost half of the community play Rhul folks, yeah, we're not a huge community... So we need more casters! I really don't like play against Gorten with my own Gorten!
While Epic Gorten would be exciting, I'd trade him for a new Rhulic jack-caster any day of the week. Now that we have 4 different types of heavies (5 with B&L), we need a mini Darius or something![]()

Paladin Caster
Mounted Caster
Warjack / steam suit armoured caster
Caster with Ogrun character lackey (note, we will NEVER see an Ogryn caster they don't have what it takes to BE a caster).
But, hell. please PP, give us another dwarf caster!!

Yeah, he has full throttle as an ability, and doesn't need focus. He's an orgun in steam armor. And, he makes a mess of everything!
Also, the first dwarf on bear is the future Rhulic cav! The second will be the mounted caster.
eGorten -could- get a giant hammer with reach, give him a few troop spells and bam! New caster. Orrrrrrrr just make a new caster, either way I would absolutely love another caster and unit for my Rhul-folk.
He's referring to the fact that Ogrun can't participate in Arcane magic. As per IK they just can't do it. I believe they can still do divine. However, that's a rarity for non-PoM warcasters.

Ogrun-shaman in steam armor then.
Eh, fluff can be changed when needed. Technically, Troll Warocks are all albino spell casters, and yet the only actual albino Warlocks in the army are Madrak and Grim Angus. Somehow Grissel can control beasts and cast spells (she is a fellcaller), so can Doomshaper & Borka (Doomshaper is a shaman - and I think Borka technically is as well), and also Calandra (she is fat). They played a bit loose with the Trollkin fluff in terms of what makes a warlock - I am sure they can mess with Ogrun fluff if they want to.
They can simply make up some story of how he was an experiment by mages or some powerful artifact imbued him with magic before he was born. This is fantasy after all!
There's fluff explanations for that. Not modifications to allow it. Hordes, is also a different beast all together.
All Warcasters do some sort of rune magic according to IK. They can see the building blocks of stuff around them and alter it. This ability is dramatically different then other Arcane users even. It's what really sets a Warcaster apart.
Hordes on the other hand is much looser with it's definition on what a Warcaster is. Grissel is a Fellcaller, Doomshaper and Borka are shamans, and idk about Calandra (Oracle). They are rather different cases.
To further salt that one. Circle is the only other "Warlock-esque" hordes faction. IE: The only one that appears to have true warlocks. Take Legion. Not a single one of those "Warlocks" can be lumped into a nice little fit of what a warlock is. They would all be more accuratly called blight casters. The fact they require an Anthac is odd as well.
Then you have Skorne whom are all about the pain. Not really warlocks there either.
I get where your coming from. It's just apples and oranges. It would be more likely for an Ogrun to be a Warlock I feel.
Also, technically. No fluff was changed for any of the TB warlocks. Cause what a warlock is, isn't as well defined as what a warcaster is.
::EDIT::
It's very unlikely from a fluff perspective is what I'm saying.

Also Kromac is a freak, once in 10 generations occurance... a Tharn with the wilding. Truly unique.
BTW, which member of the Highshields is the leader? (didn't wanna make a topic just for that.)
This dude is.
I just want a caster(human/dwarf/Ogre/goblin/Steelhead) That can work for the magnus agenda, Granted as a Highborn player this bones me but Magnus could use some 100 point love.
Maybe he could work for searforge as well. Not sure how that would work fluff wise but thats above my pay grade.
as for the OP i think epic Gorten would be sweet, but epic Ashlynn is the way to go.![]()

Mucho gracias. Thats what I was thinking... but it also could have been the guy with no helmet, so I had to make sure.
I would love to see an epic Gorten. It would give him more importance in the fluff of Immoren. If we do get a new caster (not eGorten) I would like to see a surly female dwarf caster.
