Opinions on escalating tournament list

Hey guys just wanted to see what you guys think of my escalating tournament list.

First game will be a 15 point game

Barnabas 6+
Wrastler -9
Spitter -8
Alten -2
Croak -2

Second Game will be at 25 points

Barnabas 6+
Wrastler -9
Spitter -8
Alten -2
Croak -2
Gatorman -9

3rd game will be at 35 points

Barnabas 6+
Wrastler -9
Spitter -8
Alten -2
Croak -2
Gatorman -9
WE&SJ -9
Pendrake -2

We have a huge community at my local gaming store so all factions will be there. I was thinking of switching out the 3 solos for a snapper and a totem hunter. So any suggestions will be awesome

Alten does not work for gators. Pendrake does. It sounds like people like multiple croaks, but starting out at 15 without a full unit of gatormen seems questionable as they are apparently awesome with Iron Flesh.

This is all theory-machine coming from me as I have yet to finish off my 15pts of Gators and actually play a game, but I'm planing on . . .

Barnabas 6+
Wrastler -9
Max Gatormen -9

and either a Snapper -3 or the Totem Hunter -3.

Alten doesn't work for Blindwater.

My favorite 15-pt list:

Barnabas +6
- Wrastler 9
- Bull Snapper 3
Gators (max) 9

I won a 15-pt tournament with that list.

Your 25-pt list looks ok but I always take a Bull Snapper. Its animus is too good.

This one seems great except for the Alten, since he does not work for us (be sure to check your pacts and remember your bonuses from using the pact) I would drop him completely. To replace him I would use another croak, if accessible, Also you could drop the spitter at 15 and take Full GMP and a feralgist for to add to your single croaks gang advantage.

Second Game will be at 25 points

Croak -2

For this one I would spam GMP if at all possible. Two full units of these guys are VERY VERY difficult to deal with, the point investment is well worth it. You could throw in a Bull snapper and drop the croak. Keeping the Feralgist will give you great throw targets for the wrastler.

3rd game will be at 35 points

Wrastler -9
Spitter -8
Alten -2
Croak -2
Gatorman -9
WE&SJ -9
Pendrake -2

Finally at 35 I would make it look a bit like this.

Barnabas +6
-Wrastler -9

Wrongeye- 9
-Snapjaw
-Spitter -8

Full GMP- 9

3 Croaks -6 (2 a piece)

This works well for me. Let the croaks solo hunt. You could drop the croaks for a snapper and feral, keep one to add for the gang!

Once The model is in the game it cannot be drop. So which ever stuff I play with it has to stay the same just add another 10 points per game. Alten Doesn't work for Gators? but his a minion and apparently no one at my Local store has any issues with me using it lol

Only one beast on Barnabas is a terrible idea. You'll be cutting yourself every turn for fury. No reason not to put the Snapper on him as well.

Nope. Look at the Blindwater rules in the Minions book. People at your LGS store might not mind but if you enter a tournament, they will.

Oh ok i see it! Darn i really like having some range attacks in addition do the spitter lol. Also I guess i wont get all the minions since some cant be use with Gators.

Croak Hunters and Pendrake have ranged attacks, although I would recommend 2 Croak Hunters before I recommended Pendrake.

Yeah 2 croaks are way good. only thing i like about pendrake is the knock down attack which helps a lot.

I run Barny a bit differently then everyone else. I use him as the support caster for Wrongeye. Keeping spitters in swamp pits. Using snappers on him rather than the 3 croaks. I keep 2 spitters on Wrongeye. Using them to soften up heavys and clear infantry.
