Kinda neat looking, but underwhelming power wise. Blue Reach should make for some interesting combos. If that 1 hyper cost was 2.... Sure are alot of red stats.
really interesting stats.
not sure that I'm going to go after this one with everything I've got, though.
really shows how flexible the stats for quantum forms can be, and hypering up for 1 and gaining flight? that'll have some wacky flexing shenanigans, I think.
jus a really flexible model in general.
Blue reach will give snatchers, taskmaster, tanglix, and corrupters a boost.
In two-monster games, pair with Mega Yasheth (blue berserk), for extra unit-brawling effectiveness.
Being able to spawn two FAC units on a monster turn is pretty awesome. Too far from a spawn point for that meat slave to make it there? Saddle up close to an enemy unit and create one upfield. Or, create an elite Corruptor and now your second attack can target the monster and do super damage if they're hoarding reds.
*3 on power will also let him power attack when needed. That being his only reliable way to do 2+ dmg is meh, but I think it's a great form.
I love it and want it, for colour alone.
Reach on Snatchers, Tanglix, Mollock Brutes, etc...YES PLEASE!

Destroyers were my first love, but I dabble in everything.
Time spent whining over which faction is overpowered could be better spent playing and bettering one's game. Read page 5 and play.
Farrow, Cryx, Gators, Mercs, Circle, Retribution and Cygnar. Variety is the spice of life.
Oh the sweet, sweet caress of tentacles, once again tempts me away from myplanet eaters... Don't tell Rogzor that I will be seeing another monster now...
The model itself looks great, and as a Cthul player, I'll be picking him up either way. But as it stands, he doesn't look to be a game breaking piece (not that Cthul really needs any more of those), of course, a bit of play with him might show something different than my current opinion. With a few ToC and well chosen units, he could probably do really well.
He'll be a complete monster at board control.
Keeping the dream alive at TC since 2007. Aquosia fanatic since 2009. Warmachine/Hordes player since 2011.
Take a Peak at My Team Covenant Blog, and start one of your own!
We should rename her, "Meatslave Farmer"...
Not much of a powerhouse, but an exceptional troll.
Transmute an opposing piece, hyper down and sac it for life. 1 hyper cost is awesome.
Cute monster form still not as good as the Alpha on abilities, but great colours and fun options with it's power set opening up new options for board control.
Am I the only one who wishes it's hyper cost could be a little higher to grant more power to its red abilities.
All Hail Cthugrosh, Greatest of the Lords of Cthul.
This monster would be better if its hyper cost was higher.
Truly a strange time we're living in.
Late to the party, as usual, but here ya go (anyone have a better image of the figure?):

That is seriously bizarre. With Hyper 1 he couldn't be a powerhouse, but even so - really underwhelming in monster-on-monster terms, clearly pushing Cthul even more toward the units game than he previously did.
And he gives the Moles reach, which I think is something I've heard people say they needed. Imagine getting three Oppressors within 2 of a target and going to town. I definitely will want to try that.
Team Covenant name: Mars Elemental.
You know, like an Earth elemental....only from Mars!.
*crickets*
Sun-baked Salmon Slime is an acquired taste at all levels.
Just in case, this is "The Colour Out of Space" reference.![]()
Quick, preemptive rules note: Reach on a Tanglix won't let Radial Attack hit units that are not adjacent. Radial Attack only hits adjacent figures.
