Howdy! Rookie Cygnar scum in Baton Rouge, here.
Is there any interest in an iOS application to track damage to 'jacks and units?
We're envisioning an application that would let you build lists starting with generic damage grid templates (to avoid any IP issues). You would type in the name of the unit, build the grid layout, and add critical systems to the grid as needed. Think something similar to what Vassal already does, but conveniently stored on your iPhone or iPad for quick touch-based marking of damage and without built-in character/unit names. We could also aggregate some potentially useful functions such as timers, random number generators, etc.
Most importantly, what kind of rules does Privateer Press have about developing such applications? I imagine that using PP branding, logos and character/model names would be out of the question - especially if we were interested in recouping our efforts through a small download fee.
Any input is greatly appreciated, and if I have posted this in the wrong forum, I apologize in advance. If so, let me know where I need to move it!
