Default BloodHook Raider Black Ogrun and the Posse

Tactics thoughts... If I were to run a max unit of both under Barney... do I put the Raiders out front or behind the Posse? Out front would seem to be the way to go. They could drag opponents in and let the Posse charge them with their reach weapons just behind the Ogrun... though honestly I'm not seeing infantry living through a drag from the Ogrun. The only other thought is using the Posse as a meat shield for the weapon master Raiders though. I could see either being valid.

Anyone had any use of these together yet?

And I assume just put Iron Flesh on whichever you decide to put out front.

See Posse in front might be better hmmm... DEF 16 posse soak up the charge and power 13 weapon masters charge in behind them freeing them up to charge on ahead... Then again the posse charges in to free the ogrun up who then go forward and drag more in.. it's hard to say.

Also don't forget that the Ogrun have terror when you use them... drag in a model from a unit and terrorize it. If they don't pass...

Heeeeyyyyyy... rules question... I will go look it up on the forums but if you drag a model out of formation does it suffer the -2 to command checks? I bet it does... *off to check the rules forum*

Black Ogrun killed Tartarus last night! Man I like those guys. They are very solid. I killed two guys with the ranged attacks bottom of turn 1 and then from there on out they just charged things with weapon master. I ended up running them a bit off to the side and slightly behind the Posse actually... but it just turned out that way. Only one died and that's only because I killed him... he was in my way, so I used him as my Wrastler's ranged attack.

They're the league unit for Rotterhorn. An Ally version of the Black Ogrun Boarding Party.

League only model that has power 13 weapon master melee attack and a range 8 power 12 harpoon with drag. Also CRA and speed 6 and crit stationary on the melee. Pretty solid unit. Lot of damage on a charge.

Oh and they are amphibious so they can hide in swamp pits.

I, unfortunately, do not have enough medium-based models to proxy these guys. I'm not sure I'd want to buy a unit of these guys just for Shea to have during league play... if I was playing mercs for league play. Unfortunately, Carver & Crew won out for my league choice.

Perhaps this is a hint that they're going to release the BOBP as ally models for Talion in general? Or a new Shea tier list in a No Quarter?
