His pose was meant to look like he was just about to take a massive swipe at a solo infront of him which is why the left arm is SO far back.

Here's a couple of my wraith engine aswell - sort of a "im gonna flip this sucker!" or "The blood on my hands.... feels so good..." type of thing with his palms up and arms more inward

like someone else said, they look a little shiney for cryx. guessing they all just got new armor and havnt been to the swamp for a couple of years to let it rust out huh?

the ONE thing i would do is a wash over them to make'em look a little dirty. too clean for undead.

Actually just about everything has a wash over it... there is a mudded blash wash over just about everything... was a combination of Scorched brown (GW) and Armor Wash (P3)
But overall I still wanted the highlighting on the models to POP so you can clearly see them (and so i don't forget about any on the table), i think what is making them look really bright is mostly the bone areas. it was highlighted up right to Skull white to give it a old polished bone look instead of sun bleached, or fresh.
My Necrotechs work overtime to clean off the gore...

As you can see my upper pipes were off aswell but instead of heating and bending them i just cut them off and used putty to sculpt new section of pipe.

Yea i really hated his stock hands down slappy pose, and wanted a much more menacing evil pose, so arms back, palms up "im gonna flip the table if i lose" pose fits and works (also keeps him almost entirely on his base instead of reaching over)

Hey, I'm curious. How well do you think the Bone Horde base you used with your Deneghra would work with E-Gaspy? I've been wanting to do something fun with his base and I think this would be cool.

It would work if you used the whole thing and glued him directly to it, but it would make him EXCEPTIONALLY tall harder to transport and give a larger break area (where the 2 half of the bone horde connect is fairly small)

I got really lucky and found the Bone Horde mini at one of my FLGS and after taking a good look at it last night I'd have to agree with you. Even if I pinned the hell out of it, E-Gaspy would still be way too tall... I may have to buy a boxed set of plastic skeletons and see if there's something I can do to work with there. I'm thinking of keeping the bottom half as is and adding plastic skeletons to create more of a curving wave of bone that more or less wraps around E-Gaspy with the top half as the Bone Swarm as the tip of the wave, unless it just looks too wierd, then I may not.
