Nordic Open and Nordic Team Open 2012

Hello my dear friends!

This year we had the first (hopefully annual) Nordic Open Tournament in March. Everything went rather well except that the sauna was not working in the winter season. For 2012 I was thinking of moving the tournament to summer, perhaps in June.

I have no idea when there are big tournaments organized in different countries and I wouldn't like to see NOT coincide with other big tournaments. So please, if you know there is an annual tournament/convention arranged at June (or near that), let me know. Also, if you have any other ideas or suggestions, feel free to share them (either in this topic, with private message or email me at teemaro AT hotmail DOT com).

Besides the working sauna, the tournament should be about the same: same venue, same rules, 35p or 50p (you can vote on this too), painting requirement and stuff.


On a semirelated note, how would you guys feel about Nordic Team Open?

I was planning to organize this in January or February. Three-man teams, 35p or 50p, painting requirements, and stuff. I was planning to book a slightly smaller venue for this (as I'm guessing this being a team event will turn away some attendees), which can hold tables for 30 players (eg. 10 teams). Not the biggest tournament in the Scandinavia but should still be fun, eh?

So, any comments/thoughts on the dates or anything else?
