Majortusks Avatar of Menoth part 2

I ended getting commissioned to work on some models for a good friend. I just started on the work on the Avatar of menoth.

For quick reference here is my old one.

This is just the new one, bare metal.

I apologize for the bad pics, but I hope you get the general idea.

I have taken some heavy modification on the right arm, lengthened the sword. lengthened the shins of his legs, modified the hip so I can set his position. I really wanted to get the feeling like he is looking down over his shield at you, ready to swing.









things to do still,

Add the loin cloth and arm tapestries
green stuff the shins, add brass rod pistons
Add green stuff fire to the sword.
maybe add some wrecked jack parts to the base.

It looks really good! One modification I'd make is to move his left foot to be pointing in the direction of the shield. It will add to the pose and make him look as if he is shifting his weight and starting to move in that direction.

I will definitely work on that change. that whole left hip was cut and the leg was swung out already to try to get that effect
