    Default Harbinger of Menoth

So I noted that the Harbinger has learned how to channel spells now. The cataclysm spell reduces the POW by one for every full inch away the target is "from this model". Does that mean that I measure the distance from the Harbinger or from the arc node? (assuming she is using the arc node)

Distance to determine the power of the spell is actually determined from the Harbinger, not the node.

When an ability makes a reference to "this model" it is the model with the ability on it's card. In this case the Harbinger.

You can still use the arc node to channel Cataclysm, but the Harbinger is still casting the spell, though the arc node would be the point of origin and would require LOS.

Of course, the attack automatically hits, and if you are more than 8" away it has no effect.

Being able to channel spells leaves the Harbinger available to cast Guided Hand and Rebuke (or whatever the spell is now).

Well, it's more that 8" away from the Arcnode, and sometimes a Pow 8 boostable is all you need.

Yeah, "this model" always refers to the model whose card it is so the rules are clear.
