What are your thoughts on this 35 point list I would like to field?

The basic idea is to use machathralls to do what they do and distract and draw fire. Use Gerlack to collect souls. Arc Nodes to ether spam blood of rain to clear infantry, or on a good soul collection turn spam hellfire at a caster for assassination attempt.
Malice (who has always served me well) to feed warbeast to Venethrax or alternatively to send warjacks to the bane thralls +withersadow .
Gordan to shield malice with smoke cloud then to blind whoever malice wishes to pull.

If you end up going up against an infantry list I would consider replacing the NecroStitch for upgrades on your Nightwretches to Defilers and remove banes for bloodgorgers (already have Gerlack in there) and then replace mechanithralls possibly with bile thralls. Give or take options in there however to your own taste.

Just cause bane thralls and mechanithralls have trouble with hitting high def. troops and only Gorman can currently take care of that in this list.

Your original list should handle more of a balanced or jack heavy list better however.

Withershadow is hit or miss for me in Venethrax's list cause I usually use them against Hordes and the Skarlock for me is usually casting Soul Harvester for me for a couple turns without needing upkeep but Puppet is still good.

Thanks for posting all your thoughts and input on this, I appreciate it.

In my original list I did include bile thralls and they our very effective. However from my experience of other games I found that running an arc node and spamming blood rain so it can not miss could be just as effective, as often they did not see it coming.

Defilers were also my first choice because of the spray, however I found that with their low rat you often would need to boost to hit. Or I was often running the arc nodes so never using the spray. In the end I thought I would just prefer having an extra 2 points.

Withershadows I personally really like them one because there looks. But having malice there for pull and also up keeping dragon slayer to reserve that extra focus is nice. Also puppet is very nice for that important moment when you need to not miss a pull or for Gerlak to get his first kill est.
