and here is the Mariner. Sorry for the poor lighting/crappy camera work.

Vry nicely done!
I'm a big fan of that very light and bright green on the first fig!
And she must've passed a lot of time on those striped pants.
Also those bases are very sweet. If I'd thought about that before starting my Pirates, I would've saved myself a LOT of time lol.
great work! A very fun color scheme and I love the bases with the wooden plank on the water; sculpting of the water is really good. Did your wife do that?
The Mariner is also suberb, especially the fire effect you have.
Does she channel the spirit of Walt Disney when she rolls her dice?
I like them quite a bit, but then I really enjoy bright/fun paint jobs. Very cool.
I'm with Karyle on the Walt Disney part.
Am I correct in assuming that they are dipped?

And yes, that is the flying monkey that stole your avatar.
I wish I would have thought of the water coming through the plank base. Mine look plain. Nice stuff you got.

I like these as well. They have nice clean paint jobs, and each pirate looks different from the other. My only suggestion would be a unifying color. If she is going to paint an entire playable army, she may want something that ties them all together. Just a thought...

I second the love of the bases. I also want to say that I think that brown with a splash of blue on most if makes for a nice unifying color/theme so I actually like that there is no uniform color :-) Great job!
Most recent post on my blog is Data geek fun with game record and battle journal update and I tweet game stuff @somnicidal
Did one of the Press Gangers get a peg leg? If so, AWESOME.

They say you can't comprehend the mind of an idiot... At least I have that advantage...
This stuff looks great. These are her first Warmachine minis and not first minis painted ever right? If so even more impressive.

Thanks for all the comments, she really appreciates them.
@Quase: If I remember right she spent quite a bit of time on the pants and I know they are some of her favorite parts.
@Hussar: No they arent dipped, i'm not to sure how she paintined all of them I know washes were used though.
@PG_hendybadger: Thanks I will see if she can get me some info on how she painted the bases. They are from http://www.forgecraftgames.com/catalog/. I cant speak highly enough of the bases needed almost no work out of the package and were well priced as well.
@code_b: She has been doing mini painting on and off since we have been dating (almost 8 years now) but these are the first in a few months.
Very nice, she's got skillz. The bases are VERY nicely done.
These are very nice. The one in the yellow hat seems to be looking at the camera and saying "take the damn picture already!". I LOL.

Great stuff, I really like the colors on the pirates.
Indeed she has mad skills, good sir. My GF has taken up Warmachine and painting minis again from my influence (she used to paint minis for the Other Game years ago), and I could not be more pleased!
