Bethayne 50pts

Thinking about Legion as my second army (the first one is Khador), so I need some advices about this list:

Bethayne & Belphagor
Nephilim Bolt Trower
Nephilim Protector
Carnivean
Typhon
Blackfrost Shard
Blighted Nyss Hex Hunters (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Bayal, Hound of Everblight
Blighted Nyss Shepherd
The Forsaken
Total: 50pts

Is it playable? Or should I take something else with Bethayne?

I strongly suggest working in a shredder and 3 spell martyrs. dropping the protector would be the most simple. otherwise you will probably like the list. if you dont already have the models i suggest a scythean over the carni. animus, even cooler when it's free from her feat but the extra reach and the ability to rfp tough models is amazing.

side note, i have found i really like having a ravagore with her

I don't really want to drop Carnivean (thought and I don't have his model...yet)... Would it be a good idea to change this list to something like that:

I worry about how you're going to handle fury in that list. You've got 2 fury 3 beasts and 3 fury 4 beasts. That's potentially a lot of fury out there and only a Shepherd to handle it all, and the Shepherd has a very small range for pulling off fury. I definitely wouldn't touch the Hex Hunters, Bayal or the Blackfrost Shard, but I'd change up your beasts a bit. You could get rid of the Bolt Thrower and use the points to get a Shredder, Forsaken and upgrade one of the three heavies into a Typhon, eliminating the Shepherd or adding in Spell Martyrs as the points require.

And I would really recommend taking a Shredder. I don't have a list without one for two very good reasons: Tenacity and Rabid.

With so many beast you really are wasting her up-keeps. Every other legion lock plays beast heavy why play a clearly unit centered caster beast heavy?
