    Killer:WG Rifle Corp
Assist: pButcher(Feat), Destroyer (blast damage), Kovnik Joe(Speech)
Scenario: pStryker, 25pts, WGRC draw a narrow LOS to Stryker, use Ranked Attacks to line up 6 dudes to shoot through each other and take down 'caster.

    Killer: eButcher
    Assist: Manhunter, Devestator
Scenario: pHaley, 25pts, she guns down all of my Doom Reavers, foolishly charges Butch with 3 dudes. I run models in, feat, wipe out Butch's dudes, and drop attacks from Devvy and MH on Haley. She Toughs and survives due to Piper. Next turn she can't hurt me because she's lost most of her troopers, kills Devvy with Thunderhead. eButcher uses 7 focus to Boundless charge up and Ravager through her few remaining models to kill Haley.
In all honestly, my goal within any situation is to become a solid mass of scar tissue and to stand atop a pile of indiscriminate human remains taunting the Gods themselves with my hideous unearthly strength.

    50 pts.
    Assassin: Fenris
Assists: No damage, but a lot of flashy distractions from the Gun Carriage and Doom Reavers
Scenario: (Wrath Release event) Fenris and a squad of Doom Reavers charge up the left flank, sprinting heedlessly to one of eHaley's Storm Striders. Haley stays back near her trench, but wanders out of it to assist her gun mages who are duking it out with my rifle corps. Doom Reavers all die to the strider, but do serious damage. Fenris does more damage, but doesn't take it out. Storm Strider finally falls to a Butcher's feated Hand Cannon shot, clearing the path to Fenris. He charges straight into eHaley who was way too focused on aiding her troops in taking down the Gun Carriage. He tears into her, but fails to kill her. Next turn, player winds up with a slew of preparations with Haley, prepping to Telekenisis Fenris away before he forgot Fenris has Spell Ward, leaving an angry doom reaver in her face at the end of his turn despite her attempts to knock him off his horse.

Summary: 15 pt vs. PoM, Searforge Commission, Cygnar
Everyone but one player killed another caster. I could have gotten eKreoss too but had bad attack rolls with my Destroyer's Bombard (they were boosted too). However, my Juggernaut was able to kill Grundback by charging and sitting on extra Focus.

Was giving Harkevich a shot for the first time. Both of us basically cripple each others armies in several turns so there wasn't to much left except to throw our casters at each other. Kraye focus camps and charges Hark - does no damage (thank you escort! + focus camp!). Hark pounds him into the dust next turn.

Summary: 15pt mangled metal against Ravyn. Vlad feats, allowing the Berserker to charge Ravyn. The berserker fails to hit Ravyn, but explodes in her face taking 8 boxes of her. The kodiak then runs to engage Ravyn. On her turn Ravyn fails to take down the last of the kodiaks health boxes. The Kodiak vents steam removing another few boxes from Ravyn. Finally the Marauder combo-smites the kodiak through Ravyn, killing both the Kodiak and Ravyn :-)
    Awesome kill....

    Assassin: pVlad

Curious Q: Does anyone think there could be value in distinguishing Ranged assassinations from melee assasinations? Or at least, break it out for Jacks with Ranged weapons?

For example, when I look at Black Ivan, I am curious to know how many kills are from Critical Brutal Clawness vs. Boosted Bombard. Haven't reviewed the whole thread but it could be the case that not all Destroyer KIA's were Bombard related either.

I'd personally prefer to keep this thread as 'Raw data' and keep the format as simple as possible. I do keep track of the trends, though, for my own personal interest, and had considered putting occasional facts and figs up every 100 battles or so.

Since you mention it, however; There are 120 kills listed. 79 melee, 37 Ranged, 4 Spells.

The Jacks are much as you'd expect; ranged jacks all kill at range! The only oddities are 2 claw kills from Black Ivan.
Caster-wise, shooting kills from Strakhov, pIrusk, eSorscha and Harkevich. The Spells are from pSorscha, Zerkova, pIrusk and pButcher. Everything else is Melee
pIrusk is the only warcaster to kill in Melee, Ranged and with Spells so far.

If anyone else has statistical questions about the thread, feel free to PM me.

Someone might want to fix the MoW Demo Corps stat line. Looks like it was added in post #74 then cut off in post #78.

    Yeah, that was me.

Anyways, I appreciate your thread and what you are trying to do with it Hoc.

I then concur that the simplest format is best, and there is more 'meat' for those who want to take the time to dig it out.

Good spot ForestZ: The Demo Corps hadn't been deleted, but moved to their numerical position. It looks like the words 'Demolition Corps' had been moved, but 'Man-O-War' hadn't. All tidy now, with everything in order too.

Two games where I got lucky, but very good games!

    Assassin: eSorscha
Assist: Decimator (damage on feat turn), luck
Summary: 35 points, eSorscha v. Venithrax T4--After botching my feat turn attempts, I ended up praying that DEF 19 would be enough to see Sorscha through. In the end, bad rolls left Sorscha standing, followed by Cyclone (crit freeze) and three autohitting attacks for the kill.

    Assassin: Wardog !!!!
Assist: Spriggan and Black Ivan (damage on previous turns)
Summary: 35 points Harkevich T4 v. eFeora--After a game of abysmal rolls, a lucky 9 on the counter charge (eFeora Firesteps out of combat with my jacks and barely has range to Harkevich), then follow up with a great damage roll to finish her off. Was totally going to lose if I hadn't taken her out.

    Assassin: Kovnik Joe
Assist: WGI, 3 man CRA with boosted attack. Put 11 dmg on her.
Summary: 35 points, Harkevich (first game with him!) vs eHaley. Basically just move everything up to control the board some, he advances into a central forest. I move the WGI and shoot at the B13, killing all of them (a great moment in any game). Feat (prematurely, did it for the free charge, was probably unnecessary), gave 3 focus to Kodiak so he charges Thorn, beats him up and throws him. Shoot with Ivan. Done. eHaley, Thorn does 0 dmg against 23 ARM Kodiak, he shoots with defender and dominates the spriggan (annoying...) to attack Harkevich, but it needs 11 with the war dog near, so miss. Grind another turn out, only notable thing is kill Thorn with Kodiak, despite crippled cortex. Next turn, the four remaining WGI move up and shoot eHaley for 11 dmg. He charges Black Ivan with Rowdy, but fails to kill. Ended it with a boosted shot from Joe at Haley.

    Assassin: Go Drago!
Assist: Great Bears, killed both Laryss and a slightly dinged Gnarlhorn Satyr, and War Dog, for saving Vlad's dumb *** the previous turn.
Summary: 35 points, pVlad versus eKaya. He kills behemoth on his second turn with a 13" charge (bounding + dog pile), I didn't think about both together so that sucked. Doesn't feat this turn, leaving me a nice present about 3" from Vlad. Fast forward: He's got one heavy left, Drago is just out of melee with his Gnarlhorn, he kills the WGI tying it up with some shots from druids. Like an idiot I left a big charge lane open for no reason. Totally misplayed WGI that game, could have left a couple in the way. Feats. Then he slams Vlad with a bounding dog piled Gnarlhorn, boosts to hit but misses. Buys and boosts hit, misses, tele's Larys and Satyr back. Allocate three to Drago, cast S&P. Everybody in!

He was odds to win the game with the slam, but missing that one roll basically meant he lost, or at least was in terrible shape next turn. Took my entire army to get her though.

had (what I think is) an unorthodox caster kill. my eButcher moved up to control the mosh pit while only having 2 focus. My opponent charged in his Garyth (mr. bearded elf) and proceeded to unload on me and failed to kill Butch. that was followed by a mage hunter solo who also failed to kill Butch (with only 3 health remaining). Lola proceeded to say hello to both models as well as a single doomreaver. Killed both of the elves while the doomreaver was tough for both swings of Lola. I'm keepin that guy.
How I hate the Mage-Hunter Strike Force with Unit Attachment, I hate it with a blindingly white fury that dwarfs the sun.

2 more kills with pVlad. Both of them came down to failed assasination attempts on Vlad, which left my opponents open for an absolute butt whooping.

Any game you walk away from knowing why it ended, and how to repeat or avoid that conclusion in the future, is a victory.

Summary: 35 pts v. Xerxis: After feating and Overtaking through my Winterguard (forgot to declare B+W on my turn, so just DEF 15), Xerxis gets one swing against Sorscha, misses, and goes stationary as a result of the Warjack Bond. My turn she gives four to the Decimator, Cyclones away, and the Decimator goes to town. Also notable that the Drakhun charged and one-shots a Cyclops on my feat turn.

Assist: Not any really, sort of eSorscha's feat
Summary: 35pts eSorscha v. Baldur. eSorscha's feat cleared out a lot of stuff the turn before. This left Baldur with no real options except a do-or-die attack, trying to take out as much as possible. In the end, he didn't do the doing, Beast did...

    Assassin: Spriggan
Assist: Beast-09 plonking heaps of damage down
Summary: 35pts eSorscha v. Legion ninja-caster lady? Mosh Pit scenario, which meant lots of damage was done to Legion early on. Only hope for caster was to hug in behing the three-headed big guy and keep fingers crossed since they were the only things left. She couldn't hide well enough though, so Beast managed to get sight to her and put some damage on before the spriggan charged in and finished her off.

    1. Torch
    2. eIrusk with Energizer, Winterguard rocketeer with blast damage
3 35 pt [Steamroller scenario where you try to capture opponent's objective zone while retaining control of your own], eIrusk vs. MacBain.

Grabbing objectives had left a charge lane for Torch to charge Gorman di Wolfe, putting him in B2B with MacBain, who was hiding behind a cloud. eIrusk gives him 3 focus and energizes for two inches to close the gap, Torch charges Gorman with his punching spike and hits MacBain with two ripsaw attacks, doing 16 damage. HOWEVER, as MacBain had earlier been clipped by a rocketeer's blast, this was enough to kill him.

    1. pVlad
    2. High defense?
    3. pVlad vs Scaverous, 50 pt [steamroller with two zones at 20" x 20"]: He had TK'd Drago to get a control point last turn, and his zone had been swarming with banes, so I was going to lose if I didn't put everything I had in my zone. Black Ivan charged, mostly missing the Seether, Drago moved up, and Vlad BoK'd and advanced. He charged Vlad, hit, 8 damage, but wiffed the following 3 attacks. pVlad BoKs, hits for 5 damage 3 times and 6 once. Enough to put him down, but was definitely close.

Got a couple wins at a tourney today with eSorscha at 35.

    Assassin: WGI (CRA)
Assist: eSorscha (being eSorscha, who loves Winterguard with a passion)
Summary: Against Siege. WGI are able to move up the board relatively unopposed, eventually get to Siege and gun him down, though not before he feated and got a good hit on Sorscha by dropping his Ground Pounder template centered behind the wall she was behind.

    Assassin: See above
    Assist: Same
Summary: eKaya tier. Skinwalkers come up and get shot by WG. Feat cripples most of his beasts. He gets close after a trample through WG to get to her, but fails to hit a nine on boosted attacks twice. I got a little lucky here. Following turn, WG get boosted shots from Joe, Kaya dies.

Had a 2 on 2 multiplayer game, myself and Kreoss (menoth) vs Garryth (retribution) and Kruegar (circle). Top of turn 2, after my assassins ran out and got Iron Flesh, I was reminded that I hadn't played against Krueger in a while as 5 of my assassins died without being attacked (2 chain lightnings and Krueger's feat). However, smack talk managed to bait Garryth into walking a little too close to the 2 assassins that _didn't_ have one of Kreuger's auto-pow 10 AOEs in their charge lane, and they charged through the line of Halberdiers to shank him in 2 hits.

Assist. Widowmakers had shaved off a few boxes.
    Target: Feora
Summary: Juggy in combat with a beaten up castigator and two cinerators which are all thats left of Feora's 15pt army. Feora knows the ends near so tries to use her reach, a few focus and a back arc attack to take out the juggy, which cripples the fist but doesnt dent too much. Widowmakers box one of the cinerators and my almost totally wrecked destroyer charges the castigator and kicks it to death with base strength. Juggy repositions around the base of the last cinerator the two inches needed to smack Feora and not incur free strikes. Ice axe to the face on second bought attack. First win woo.

    Game 1:
    Assassin: Karchev
Assist: Behemoth (did damage to ennemy caster).
    Target: eMakeda
Summary :35 pts. My opponent advanced most of his army in charge range of my 3 'jacks (Behemoth, Beast 09 and Spriggan). Behemoth killed Molik (he played with only one beast) and the other 'jacks and the Winter Guards killed the Cetrati. With the better part of his army dead (the rest had little chance to seriously damage a 'jack), he charged the Behemoth with eMakeda and failed to destroy it. Next turn, damaged eMakeda once with the Behemoth and Karchev charged eMakeda for the kill. Easy victory there.

    Game 2:
    Assassin: Zerkova
Assist: Destroyer (did damage on ennemy caster, Wyshnallyr (for using Arcane Secrets on Zerkova).
    Target: Ossyan
Summary: 50 pts Zerkova vs Ossya. Zerkova advance near the middle of the table and use feat to cover Ossyan, the Battle Engine and his 2 'jacks, then cast Banishing Ward on herself. A few Mechanics run in front of her to block LoS. Ossyan use Arcantrik Bolt twice on the Mechanics to give his Household Riflemen LoS to Zerkova, leaving him without Focus. Failed to kill Zerkova with the Riflemen. Zerkova give two Focus to the Destroyer, who shooted and did 7 damage (even with Ossyan's feat). Wyshnallyr activate and use Arcane Secrets on Zerkova. Zerkova used three unboosted Razor Wind for the win.

    Game 3:
    Assassin: Winter Guard Infantry
Assist: Spriggan (removed stealth from Deneghra), Black Ivan (did damage to caster), Jozef Grigorovich (for the boosted attack roll on Winter Guards)
    Target: Deneghra
Summary: 50 pts Irush vs Deneghra. Irusk feat. Spriggan advance and use Targeting Flare on Deneghra. Black Ivan shoot Denny and did a little damage. Gregorovich used For the Motherland on Winter Guards. They spray Denny to death through her Mechanithralls for the victory.

    Assassin: Harekvich, via Hand Cannon
Assists: WGI CRAs, Black Ivan, Bombardier
    Target: Siege
    Scenario: Killing Fields

Quick and dirty: Siege wasn't fully under cover, and hadn't been for a turn or two prior to his demise. I popped a few smallish CRAs into him with the WGI, then dropped some big bore shells on him via the Bombardier and (a cortex-less) Black Ivan. Harkevich finished things off himself, but this was a team effort. Battle report is available for those so inclined.
