    Default Jarl 35 points

Ok so I took my shot at Jarl here. I went a little unconventional but I think it is a pretty good list. The only thing it lacks is hitting hard which will have to be left to the bomber. Also no fell caller but at least I can hand out path finder like candy still.

    Jarl (6)
    1 Bomber (10) 4
    1 Impaler 5
    1 rune bearer 2
    10 fenn blades 8
    2 fenn UA 2
    6 scatter gunners 5
    2 scatter gunner UA 2
    6 scouts 5
    1 chronicler 2

Ok here is the plan in theory. As you can see this list clears out infantry like nobodies business. That is the one thing it does excel at. Also between jarl and his battle group there are large potential for assassinations there.

Fenns are front line and will have quicken on them. They will then get told a story about feign death and concealment depending on the battle and set up or if my scouts don't need it. The scatter gunners will run up behind them but keep a safe distance. The scouts will most likely take the flank or run through a forest. They will have supremacy on them. I am thinking weald secrets for the scatter gunners but most likey they won't need it. I might switch supremacy on them instead so they can keep up to the fenns.

Turn two I charge fenns in do what I need to do. Base models, spread out. the scatter gunners either that turn or next will move up (potentially 8" due to quicken) and spray the counter chargers that charged my fenns. Feat will most likely be down so -2 to hit my fenns and they have set defense so they will be an effective def 16.

Not sure how it will fair. This list might hit too soft and have too much anti infantry. Guess we will find out.

Really? No one has any opinions on this? Even though I threw in scatter gunners? That didn't raise any eye brows?

You are correct. I actually mentioned that in my OP. It does lack hitting pow and at best is a second list. It's not really an all comers list for sure. Suppose I should try to get champs or something in there. But man playing champs without the KSB's and SSE is so hard to wrap my brain around. And it is almost impossible to fill even a min KSB unit up with fury. And if you do you totally have to go first.

When I read Jarl's card I immediately thought of the EBDT. A heavy beast with a potential speed nine! Awesome! I also think with Quicken and Weald Secrets the Long Riders can be fun too.
