Default Looking for PG around Cleveland, OH

    Hello!

Does anyone know how I can find a PG for the Cleveland area? I'm going to be moving there tomorrow and I would like to find out more about the Warmachine/Hordes scene, and places to play.

I posted in the gaming clubs page but haven't had any replies yet. Thanks a ton.

I just left the Cleveland area. Sorry.

That said, there is a solid and steady group of players who meet at the Gamer's Haven on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings. You can easily find a game during the league season, but things tend to die down in between. They were also planning their Wrath event for sometime early November (post-League). If you stop by the shop and ask, I have no doubt that they'll add your name to the WarmaHordes mailing list to keep up to date.

I've also heard of a shop south of Cleveland that runs a monthly tournament. I was never able to make it, but the local players can provide more details.

    Hope that helps.

    where in cleveland?

    i know of two spots.

Gamers Heaven, on pearl road. there arnt that many tables and the nights they hold some WM/H stuff, other stuff is going on too, so it can get crowded. ( thursdays are pretty good up there, now that you mention it PG_crann777. havnt been up there saturday morning.)

Warzone Matrix on the corner of rockey river drive and homeway road. its just north of hopkins airport. its pretty messy in there, but ive been going there for Magic since high school, and now started to play WM up there. theres loads of space and i know he use to stay open pretty late (2am?) when we would play magic in high school. not sure how much he does it anymore. but like, 5-7 people show up on firday nights.

ill be glad to play a game or two...or 50, once you get set up.

If you will be living on the south side of Cleveland then I'll recommend JAC Games in Cuyahoga Falls, located on Portage Trail. They have a good WM/H community there and a PG if I remember correctly.
"We hear that there are tumults and riots in Rome, and that voices are raised concerning the army and the quality of our soldiers. Make haste to reassure us that you love and support us as we love and support you, for if we find that we have left our bones to bleach in these sands in vain, then beware the fury of the legions."

Don't know too much about what's where in Ohio (I live on the other side of the big water), but just looking it up might be helpful: http://volunteers.privateerpress.com...l&postal_code=

    Hey there Aeon!
I'm a bit further south in the Akron area. My main store is JAC Games in Akron/Cuyahoga Falls, as Top mentioned. We have a strong Privateer group and are growing every day. Feel free to stop by or check out their forums for demo and event days. http://jacforum.informe.com
    Thanks!

Thanks for all the replies everyone! I just moved yesterday and am in the Cleveland Heights area. I will keep looking around and am sure that I will be visiting some of these shops.
