A while back there was a thread from someone asking for reading material related to our precious hobby. I posted a list of whatever I was following at the time, which were quite a few links. Since I had some time on my hands today that I couldn't spend painting or playing, I thought it might be a good idea to collect and list up all the links I could still find on my PC and add whatever I could find without spending three weeks glued to a computer screen.
I'll post the results spread over a few entries in alphabetical order below - please let me get a couple of placeholders in before replying, I'd like to do this somewhat neatly - but I'll explain my selection process a little bit:
1) must have Warmachine/Hordes content (duh)
2) must not be solely about painting (I read a lot of those too, but that would easily quadruple the list of sites, too much for me to handle here - besides, the forum for painting and terrain has plenty of resource listings for anyone interested to peruse)
There is no blog or website of mine in there, since I don't have one. I didn't pass judgment on content other than for my own benefit: if it's not worth my time I won't follow it, but it will still be on the list. There are no ratings either (if you ask nicely I'll point out some current favourites, but that's as far as it goes).
I'm human, which means I'm fallible, which means there may well be mistakes in there. It's also impossible to be anywhere near complete without going OCD about this, and that's not a price I'm willing to pay. If you have a site that fits the criteria, isn't on there and you'd like for it to be, just post a link. If your site is in there and you don't want it to be, let me know and I'll take it out (you can do this via PM if you don't want to do that publicly). If your site is on the list and I somehow misrepresented it, please do let me know. I check this forum pretty much every day, all day. I'm not that hard to reach.
EDIT: also no sites of stores or online businesses (slippery slope with forum policies), nor YouTube channels (again, too much)
EDIT2: I'll be adding colour codes as I check the links for how current they are:
updated in the last three months
no updates for at least three months
no updates for at least six months
main sites for recurring events / conventions / tournaments
11/27/12: starting new check for last updates
