reminds me of uruk-hai from LotR, really nice painting on the metals and skin!
Very nice army. I love the look of the Warmongers and wish people would play them more. I like the red eyes on your's. They look menacing.

Good job, I really like your exaggerated highlights on the armor but personally I dont like it too much on the skin.
I actually like it. The eyes are very striking as well.
Loving it.
I think I have a similar painting style to you. Do you do a wash on the skin after the last highlight? It's something I've done for a while, it helps to blend the layers of highlights together and not make each one seem so stark.
I really like your kind of matte colors, great choice! They look really frostbitten![]()

Love the Warmongers. The Soldier is good as well, but the chitin blends into the skin a bit too much and there isn't a good differentiation between them.
Thanks for all comments.
Thanks. Glad to hear that. I forced myself to use very limited set of colours for this army. When painting those warmongers and in fact most of my legion models, I used only six or seven different colours (counting black and white) and more then half of them was shades of grey.
Thats true. I used the same colours as for my other warbeast and it seems that they are less forgiving for good old Nephilim.
Yeah the skin isn't something I'm very proud about but it looks a little better then photos would suggest.
Fantastic colour scheme!
Very nice, I like this work a lot. The limited colour pallette was a good move, this reminds me a lot of John Blanche's (GW) painted models.
If your not chucking snow on the bases maybe some dead grass?
These Army Painter "tufts" are just so easy to use, I never looked back. Check out Winter Tuft or Highland Tuft.
