Another thread seeking Resurgence advice - Rahn

So I'm looking at taking Rahn for my local Resurgence event, it'll be 25/35/50 point forces. Since I'm fairly new to the Retribution (and to Warmachine in general) Any advice would be much appreciated.

Here are the lists I'm considering so far:

25:
Adeptis Rahn Shyeel (+6)
Chimera (-6)
Manticore (-8)
Dawnguard Invictors (Leader & 5 Grunts) (-6)
Dawnguard Invictor Officer & Standard (-2)
House Shyeel Battle Mages (-5)
Ghost Sniper (-2)
Mage Hunter Assassin (-2)

35: Add:
Mage Hunter Strikeforce (Leader & 5 Grunts) (-5)
Mage Hunter Commander (-2)
Arcanist (-1)

50: Add:
Phoenix (-10)
increase Invictors to full size (-4)
pEiryss (-3)


So my main issue at the moment is that my 35 point list is 2 points under and I'm not quite sure how to rearrange things in order to rectify that.

Any thoughts from wiser/more experienced minds?

in my games with rahn, i've gotten huge mileage form phoenixes, as Rahn is arcing quite a bit, so those nodes need to be hardy, so chimera is a tad soft to my liking.
also at 50, i'm playing to phoenixes, just so theres an arcnode availeble, and they do clear infantry nicely as well...

So maybe start with a Phoenix (perhaps a Phoenix and a Griffon rather than the current 'jacks) and add another Phoenix at 50 points?

Although I have found the Manticore's Covering Fire to be quite useful for field control.

that covering fire is good mostly, brilliant at times. but Phonixes are my way, and haven't failed still. also combust boostable autohit can even kill casters that are careless, or at least damage them. I'm also starting to try a griffon with rahn nowdays, since that puppy can get to ridicilous threats with him and lanyssa, maybe cathcing people off guard...
