I have a stick glued to the bottom of the mini and then the stick is glued to the can. This gives me something large to hold onto so my fingers don't get tired from holding it for hours on end.
Once I get it done I will have some better pictures where the shading is not all blown out from the bring lights.

I am amazed at the progress you have made and the quality of this piece. have you been airbrushing?

Would you be willing to sell one of them clear resin bases? This is looking good. Mine I need to send back because there are huge mold pieces and crack and chips in the parts.

Nope just wet blending. But you would be amazed how much progress you can make painting 10 hours a day!

Wheels are done. I am off to go work on my plinth base for a little bit so the glue has some time to dry so I can work on it more later tonight.

Started the plinth base. I am making it out of 4 pieces of oak. This way I can easily hollow it out for a switch and larger battery pack so it can sit on display with out dying too quickly.

I am debating putting some filigree on their robes. Though I think it might look cool having them simple with how over the top the Battle engine it self is. What do you guys think?

I'd love to see filigree on their robes. I actually think they will look underwhelming next to the beautifully filigree'd battle engine. That is by no means a criticism of the Menites, it's just that you set yourself a very high level of ornateness with that engine!

I'd honestly keep the robes looking simple. It gives the feel that lesser beings devoted to Menoth have sacrificed that posh luxury to bring the word of Menoth to the battlefield in the Vessel, and that they are simply clothed to serve a purpose (especially the giant zealot towing it), one greater than themselves, rather than to serve their own agenda of looking fancy- schmancy. (All that from a Dragon- obsessed Zombie)

Or, you know, scroll- work looks badass, though, I'd prefer giving it a back story :3

I'm in the keep it simple camp, I think you need someplace for your eyes to rest or it will risk looking busy.

    So like this?

That is the old demo base. I am working on the new one right now. I also notice that there are some areas on top that need some filigree that the top part of the model does not cover.

Will know once I get back next week. The materials are different and need to price them out.

Here is a pic of the base mostly finished. Once this dries I will get some clear coat on it and then get it lit up! After that I'm sure there will be lots of little things to touch up.

All done! Now just need to have the wife give it a go over to see if I missed anything since I have been looking at it all week. When I get back after the weekend I will get real pictures taken and a video of the lights and stuff. Thank you all for your feedback and encouragement.
