    Scythean 9
    Shredder 2
    Swordsmen + UA 11
    Legionnaire 6
    Striders + UA 9
    Spawning Vessel 3
    Deathstalker 2
    Deathstalker 2
    Shepherd 1

Your list is 3 points over (Swordsmen w/ UA is 11). Drop one Ravagore for a Scythean (since you want a heavy hitter), then drop a Deathstalker to get it down to 50. You probably want a Spawning Vessel in the list, as it allows you to play the attrition game even better. While you won't get corpses from the things that turn into Incubi on the feat turn, you will get corpses from the Incubi (and things on other turns). To fit this, I'd drop the remaining Deathstalker and one Shepherd (one fury management solo is enough).

If you want shooty beasts, Bolt Throwers are almost as good and cheaper than the Rav, plus the KD will only help infantry. I would also suggest dropping the Striders and Deathstalkers for Raptors who will make better use of Kals abilities.

Yeah, i know the swordsmen were 11 points, i just put down 10 and then counted it up wrong. XP

I had thought about the spawning vessel when i was first thinking about him, i just wasn't completely sure really. I figured the 2 ravagore would be fine with dark guidance and ignite ((or whatever it is called)) on one. Pow 18 with dark guidance should be able to wreck whatever it needs to wreck but i'll toy around with a scythean instead.

I've got the calv, i've just found that in my local meta, the striders work better then the calv do. I'll toy around with the list a bit.

i just have to jump in here and say that they bolt thrower is nowhere near what the ravagore can do at all, none what so ever. there hasnt been a game where i was like " man the bolt thrower would of pulled me through or done more". the ravagore on the other hand has been that +100000000000.

Agree on the Ravagore. He is a great gun and with his animus he is a real threat for heavy infantry and warlocks. The denial of the Ravagore is just a bonus. Dropping a template down that forces light troops to go around rather than straight up the table is nice and can gum up the works for your opponent in large games.

The Bolt Thrower is nice and I use him mostly as a way to keep an opponent's big heavy out of the game. Hitting a slow, heavy jack with the knockback or critting and knocking down lets my models do some damage with less retaliation. Ravagores can take out chunks of infantry and force whole units to reconsider their next move.

Well, chances are i am going to try a second ravagore instead of the scythean. I'm wanting to buy a second ravagore anyways for when i buy eLylyth, i'll probably just get it a head of time is all.

I agree. Drop the Scythean for another Ravagore. I've now played Rav&Scyth twice and Scythean did nothing for me but eat up points and get in the way. Rav has successfully hit eCaine in my game on Thursday, ending him. Each turn was just dropping a Bomb and setting everything on fire which didn't die from blast and opening up lanes.

Ravagore is a must. I played a 50 point game and brought only Ravagore and a Raek. The Raek is awesome for stopping up units and heavies alike with his high defense and he also throws in some nice trickery with assassination possibilities and solo hunting. I used HH, Mongers, Lego's and full Pot. The pot was well worth its numbers spawning 4 shredders in the game I played. The HH were great with Bayle especially since I was playing against Cryx with Incorporeal models. Mongers didn't do much, I also had Raptors and Anyssa and they chewed away at the flanks the entire battle and never got touched. Back to the Ravagore though, he was irreplacable. You need his range and AOE to pound away at the enemy which forces them to come to you on your terms and in the route you want them to take. And in the second game I played where my forsaken was taken out my Ravagore was the only thing I had that could take down a focus camping eGhaspy and he did it with two hits.
