Default stack question on : Doc, Rockbottom and Bosun

ok question on how this works.

Lord RockBottom gives Tough to a unit
Doc Killingsworh gives that unit a 4+ tough save instead of a 5+ but is knocked down

Bosun gives immune to kncoked down.

    does Bosun override Doc ?

All three abilities stack. Only with in CMD range of each model though, so some models may still get knocked down or only get a 5+ tough. So you need to keep an eye on those CMD ranges to make sure they all benefit.

    Cheers

does the whole unit benefit or just the models in the cmd range?

I believe the way the interaction works is that when a model makes a successful tough roll, they are not knocked down (meaning they are not automatically hit in combat that round, their DEF is not 5 vs. ranged attacks, and you do not have to "stand up" during your next activation).

Bosun stacks with Doc in this respect. You gain the benefits of Tough, without the downside of being knocked down as a result. May seem a bit ridiculous, but, then again, you need 3 solos (one of which using an ability with a use-per-game limit) to make it happen.

EDIT: Too slow... beat me to it. :P

Grogspar and Doc grant their abilities to models within their command range.

Rockbottom grants his ability to the whole unit, regardless of command range.

Immunity to KD is immunity to KD. There are a few examples of Tough models also gaining immunity to KD and not going KD on a successful tough check. Grogspar is one, Gorten is another, and Trollbloods certainly have something.

As was stated. Grogspar and Doc's abilities are on individual models in their CMD range. Both must be in proximity to the individual model. Rockbottom gives a unit wide buff that confers tough and does not need to be in proximity (or on the table) when the models make tough checks.

Kriel Warriors with their Standard and Musician Unit Attachment gain Steady, so they aren't Knocked Down on a successful Tough roll.
