Question Kromac and his bonded beasty?

Whilst I've been playing for quite some time, I have no idea what Ghetorix being BONDED to Kromac actually means.

I don't pay leagues or anything like that, so I'm not interested in that side of things.

If I rock up to a tournament, with Ghetorix in a Kromac army, what extra stuff does he benifit from thats not on his stats already? in other words, what tips over the edge of putting him in your Kromac list instead of your Kaya/Kruger/Baldur etc list?

nope. it CAN be boned to him, which only applies in league games, as outlines in the Prime and Primal books. BUT what the special issue does do for tournaments is it allows him in all of Kromacs theme forces. (currently the only one is his Heart Eater theme force)

Ghetorix has "Special issue" for Kromac. This means Ghetorix can be included in a kromac army and still be eligible for tier bonuses. Thats it

Currently, that is all it means. If eKromac has a Warbeast bond, Ghetorix will be able to use it. Usually characters are unable to be bonded.

Also Ghetorix will gain +2 THR while in Kromac's control area, in the same way bonded jacks get the ability to be allocated four focus.

But yes, with no way to create the bond outside of league games, it's really only for tier lists.

that is only IF they are bonded they get that bonus, not if they are able to be.

If you're implying that Special Issue gives the warbeast +2 THR, then nonononononononononononononononononononononononono nononono. This misconception is going to be something that we hear about for years if it keeps getting posted.

If you didn't mean to imply that, and you were just commenting on if a beast gets bonded, then okay. It's just not a good place to post it, since it will just lead to more confusion.

What benefits do you get for a boned beast?

    To sum everything up:

Bonds work in league games, or if for some reason the tournament has bonds (very unlikely).

The bonds can be found in the book. Generally, they are some special rule that gives cool benefits.

Otherwise, being able to bond it means nothing in "regular" games.
