Looks pretty solid to me I would swap out one unit of trenchers for a hunter though. They are just so lethal with Kara casting refuge on it they turn into a great hit and run model that deals well with high armor targets. Also in an army that size I find that the B13 and ATGM fill the same sort of role so it may be worth considering swamping out the ATGM for long gunners who work exceptionally well with trenchers. Allot of this comes down to my play style though.

It is not a T4 army with Reinholdt in there, unfortunately, but you could use that point to add a weapon attachment to one of the trencher units. I have found trencher commandos to work really well with her if you wanna give them a spin some time, the grenades are ranged attacks too so if you manage to use them on feat turn they become a lot more accurate.

Ah yeah, I forgot to take off the tier 4. I also contemplated 2 units of 10 trenches. 2 power 21 shots each turn could do some real damage

You can't actually take a Tier 4 list with Trenchers in it.

Tier 2: you need two units of Long Gunners
Tier 3: one unit of Rangers
Tier 4: two heavy jacks with guns. Defenders or Avengers would be best.

Bonuses include: jacks are one point cheaper, long gunners get advanced move, turn 1 pathfinder to everyone, and you can redeploy her battlegroup.

So the minimum you need to hit Tier 4 will cost you 33/41 points for a 35 point game. I would increase the size of those long gunner units as well, since I feel like min units of them are kind of useless.

If you are dead set on using this list, I'd pick up the gun mages with your left over points. You'll need some magical weapons and the ability to ignore stealth.

I messed up on the list, it should not be a tier list. I am not really dead set on this list, I am looking to you guys for some advice on the best gunline type list.

Perhaps this is a better list.

    Sloan

    Defender

    Defender

    Trencher x 10

    Trencher Chain Gun Crew

    Trencher Grenadier

    Long Gunners x10

Defenders are great, and I'm sure your list will be able to shoot things pretty well, but you've got almost no solutions for stealth, and honestly, Reinholt is incredible with Sloan.

If you're dead set on Long Gunners over ATGM (which are arguably better in general, and much much better with sloan's Dead-eye and feat for crit effects...) then the least you could do would be the drop one of the Defenders down to a Hunter (-3 points) and then field the Trenchers as a Min unit with 3 Grenadiers (9pts total, so -2 more points) and then drop the Chain Gun crew for the B13 (Ryan's Magestorm is a better deterrant than the Chain Gun's template, and they've got the tools to help the LGs take out stealth, etc) upgrading the LGs to have the UA, and with the final point, buy Reinholt so that Sloan can fire off her amazing weapon twice per turn. It'd look like this:

    Sloan (+6)
    -Defender (9)
    -Hunter (6)
    Trenchers (min) & 3 WAs (9)
Long Gunners (max) w UA (12)
    -B13 (4)
    -Reinholt (1)

... Now you've got some serious shooting, some roadblockage via the Trenchers, and some hefty clean-up with the B13 and Long Gunners. My recommendation would be to fire Ryan's Magestorm first, and then lay the Covering Fire template from the LGs to support the rest of your lines if not close enough to double-tap.

    best,
