Default Naaresh - Cyclone and Special Attacks

Cyclone: "....At the end of this movement, this model can make one melee attack against each model in its LOS that is in its melee range..."

Since it doesn't say "one normal melee attack" like many other spells, can Nasresh at the end of the movement make one Special Attack (Combo Strike) against every model in its LOS and melee range?

No. A melee attack is a melee attack. A special attack is a special attack. He can, however, make melee attacks with cyclone then do a combo strike against a target that he's engaged with at the end of his movement and buy additional attacks as normal.

I don't know the answer to the OP's question, but I believe this answer is incorrect, as any number of special attacks are melee special attacks; this is significant in any number of contexts, but my go-to example for simplicity would be Saeryn's feat, which absolutely applies to a large number of special attacks, including combo strike.

I am fairly confident the answer to the OP's question is still no, although probably not for the reason given, as combo strike is a *attack, and *attacks may only be performed using your combat action (so they cannot be bought with focus, etc); the spell would have to explicitly allow *attacks for combo strikes to happen.

There are Melee Special Attacks and other types of special attacks (Ranged, Magic), Combo Strike MUST be a melee attack otherwise you cannot do it as charge attack...
I ask this because in other abilities like:
Vengeance - "...each model in the unit advance 3'' and make one normal melee attack."
I'd like to know if the different wording is intended or if there is some rule that don't allow it...

To make it simpler: You can only do a special attack when you can forfeit your initial attacks.

Never when you're granted additional attacks,

and not when you charge unless there's something else specifically allowing you to, i.e. when the special attack is on the weapon (such as thresher, or the angelus' piercing). Or the attack specifically says it can be made on the charge (Quake, or whatever it is on a quake-hammer)

I was simplifying. A special attack with a melee weapon is a melee attack. This, however, its not relevant to the question. If you were able to make special attacks with cyclone it would specifically allow it. Only the assumption that special attacks and melee attacks are one and the same would allow for special attacks with cyclone. Combo strike is indeed a melee attacks, but its a special melee attack.

Maybe i answered myself, correct me if i'm wrong:
Prime Rulebook (pg. 36): "...A model can make one special attack by choosing that option during its combat action..."
Since Cyclone is a spell, i'm not making the attack during my combat action...
    Is it right?

    In a word, yes.
