Best painted models

My search fu is crazy weak. I have tried looking for a thread that had the "creme de la creme" or models painted so good it'll make you slap yer momma but I have not been able to find it yet. Plus is there a single thread for each years painting competition winners? Why does a round pizza come in a square box?

Square boxes are much easier to make in bulk, easier for people to assemble into a fully developed box, and provides much more stability than a round box would due to the involvement of corners.

As for really well painted models I am unsure. My Search-fu is equally weak.

When I want to see incredible minis I go to coolminiornot.com Then I set the criteria for searching to privateer press, and ratings of 8-10 and that will pretty much yield only mind blowing results.

I propose that pizza is in fact delivered in rectangular cubes and pizza could be delivered in a cylindrical box and not suffer the stability issues, however it is not cost effective to produce and are more difficult to assemble.
As far as search fu, searching for "the best painted anything" won't turn up great results. Have you tried voted best painted, or best painted contest, etc., to try and get what you are looking for? Doing so would eliminate threads asking the question of what is the best painted "noun" from appearing in results.

Somebody orders at Papa Johns. . The LGS is right next door to Papa Johns... when ever a pizza is ready they knock on the door or walk it over. Best set up ever!!

I was asking about the thread because.. well this last weekend a beautiful thing happened. My wife's cousin spend the Thanksgiving holiday with us and started painting some of my Khador minis pink!! Looks like I will finally get my pink Khador done after all. She is also doing a pretty decent job. I was going through and showing her some of the awesome work I have seen but was unable to find the consolidated thread of awesome I remember. Thus the call to arms by those with better search fu than me.
