    Default WGI eSorscha List

So I recently started up with Khador and love it. I built up a list around the Gun Carriage and have enjoyed it, but recently played a 35pt game with the WGIDS and had a lot of fun. My only worry was a lacking in support. I won, but it was tricky. I have planned out a 50pt list to use and wanted some professionals opinion on it.

    Forward Kommander Sorscha
    Beast-09
    Kodiak
    Sylys Wyshnalyrr, the Seeker

Winter Guard Infantry (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Winter Guard Infantry Officer & Standard
    3 Winter Guard Infantry Rocketeers
    Kovnik Jozef Grigorovich

Man-o-war Demolition Corps (Leader and 4 Grunts)

    Kayazy Eliminators (Leader and Grunt)
    Kayazy Eliminators (Leader and Grunt)

    Lady Aiyana & Master Holt
    Reinholdt, Gobber Speculator
    Saxon Orrik

The jacks are there for flanking power and with one bound to Sorscha it can help hold up a lot.

Wyshnalyrr is there for support and to make IF on the WGI free.

    WGIDS is just standard.

Man O Wars is for target saturation and applying pressure on a separate front.

Eliminators have worked wonderfully in past games to get to vital enemy solos and work their magic.

Aiyana can help against Menoth with WGI Magic shooting or lowering enemy armor if magic isn't needed.

Saxon lets me pathfinder stuff around to provide mobility.

Any advice or feedback for improvements and changes? Or does this sound solid?

Looks solid. I'm not a huge fan of the Kodiak with eSorscha though. Kodiak needs focus and Sorscha doesn't have any battlegroup buffs aside from Boundless Charge. I also prefer a jack that can take point and take advantage of her bond. For me, that means a Devastator or Spriggan.

As far as the MoW DC go, they can do massive damage on the feat turn but might be too slow. I've had good luck running Doom Reavers (and Fenris) with eSorscha. They can dish out just as much (if not more) damage than the DC and have a massive threat range. You've got Saxon already so they are perfect.

Another thought on switching out the MoW DC and still keeping some feat turn damage would be to remove the DC, and Reinhodt, then add a mortar crew or other 3 pt unit, Great Bears, and Harlen Versh or other 2 pt solo. That still leaves you with a lot of damage potential, but speeds up the army a bit and gives a bit more utility.

    Excellent advice.

Originally I had Reavers in instead of MOWDC, but I just do not like those models and don't want to paint them lol.

I'll probably end up swapping out for those guys though.

As for the mortar team, that is also something I would be willing to do. I have two mortar teams I'm painting right now because I love them at 35pts with pSorscha.

also consider just dropping to the min unit of DC. i bought a full unit and hardly ever use it. i bought the bits and converted one to my Drakhun dismount and the other is just a pile of bits. if i want a full unit of MoW i would run the Shock troopers. however, the Great Bears do a better job then the minimum MoW DC. i play an eSorscha list. but i am honestly liking pIrusk more. pSorscha is fun, i hate her spell list. i cant really run any Khador infantry with her. i am slowly moving my pSorscha list to include more solos that infantry.

from the looks this is a 50pt list. in 35pt i would only run 1 unit of eliminators though, i saw that they were available so they are on my next order. i am not a fan of using alot of Mercs or Merc Solos so my lists have Gorman, peEiryss, and Sylys thats about it. i would be willing to get a Merc Unit now that we have Valechev.

Khador: 6 casters 150 pts. Skorne: 1 caster 18 pts.
    Malifaux: Ramos
    Infinity: Yu Jing, Exclusive Yuan-Yuan

    Yeah, it's a 50pt list.

I have a full unit of Shock Troopers from the 2 Player Battle Box, and would give them a shot as well, but I hear great things about the DC. I do have the Great Bears, and might swap them into this list instead and see what I can work.

Normally I refuse to run mercs/minions, with exception of Gormon in my Cryx lists, but as I have used my 35pt version of this, I find the mercs included provide all the things I need and never have an answer for.
